Chevrolet Bel Air LS1 Supercharged V8 1962

General description : HIGH END $200K BUILD, SUPERCHARGED LS1, INCREDIBLE INTERIOR, NICEST ANYWHERE!!

Award-worthy paint, custom leather interior, four-wheel disc brakes, and a modern LS1 V8 that's been stroked and supercharged – this 1962 Chevrolet Bel Air is a stunning one-of-a-kind restomod that's so unique and powerful that it cannot escape the spotlight.
You already know why the 1962 Bel Air is such a cool ride. It's from the sought-after couple of years where the hardtop coupe included the highly stylized bubble top design. That skinny c-pillar and wraparound rear window is truly spectacular. And it only gets better on a meticulously rebuilt this classic with better precision gaps than even the factory could have made. Next comes the kind of Ice Blue paint that you can understand how pristine and pure it is simply by looking how it radiates light even under our indoor lamps. Builder John Dubois mastered the art of these Chevy's, and you instantly appreciate it once you see how the luster and shine evenly rolls off every surface of this Bel Air. But more than just paint, this coupe makes a striking impression with its brightwork. Up front, the three-part front bumper has been made into a singular piece that shines like a mirror. The same goes for the rear. And in-between is the sweeping side trim that runs its unbroken line to further highlight how straight the bodywork is. And while all this classic brightwork is amazing, you'll also love the modern Kingman alloys that hint at just how advanced this restomod really is.
Open the door to a full custom interior. The masters at Unlimited Design took the essence of Chevy's original color combinations and created a modern fully custom leather interior. That means the great tri-color patterns available in the era, but now on four individual bucket seats that have modern bolstering for all-day comfort. When you sit down and close the door, the custom feeling consumes you. The door panels match the unique seats; the comfortable center console is trimmed in the same leather; and in front of you is a chrome wheel with a rim that matches the same two tone on the dash and rest of the car. It's such a well-coordinated total package that it's easy to see this interior can winning awards at the car shows just by its appearance alone. But more than just stylish, you'll enjoy serious substance with this custom build. You get a full gauge package thanks to a modern Dakota Digital setup that glows a blue to match the interior. Plus, there's power locks, keyless entry, a tilt wheel, and a modern AM/FM Bluetooth radio nicely concealed in this vintage cabin. Also, we know you're going to love power windows that allow you to show off the pillarless hardtop profile without ever having to leave the driver's seat. And since this custom coupe has ice-cold R134a air conditioning, you can feel comfortable running with the windows down all year long.
As much as you'll love showing off the interior and exterior, it's the motor that will really draw all the crowds. Under the hood is modern LS1 fuel-injected V8 that's been enhanced with a 383 stroker kit and Magnuson Supercharger. Other upgrades include LS6 camshaft, LS6 aluminum heads, and 9.5 to 1 compression. But the beastly side of this motor is well hidden thanks to the level of professional installation with the high-quality paint on the fenders and firewall that make the presentation neat and clean. This level of excellence goes well beyond the engine bay. You'll see in the undercarriage photos with the painted chassis that has a smoothness and finish that many high-quality classics don't even get on their exterior (so you'll definitely be bringing big mirrors to the car shows.) Also, this is where you'll spot plenty of other upgrades such as the new A-arm front suspension, reinforced rear end, Ridetech coliovers all around, and Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes. If this sounds like the perfect mix of a power handler and great cruiser, you'd be right. There's even a 4L65E four-speed automatic transmission that features a 2300 RPM stall and overdrive to handle everything from performance driving to highway roadtrips. Plus, the heavy duty custom Matheson radiator and dual electric fans are designed to keep this whole machine cool even if you're in traffic with the A/C pumping.
With only 187 miles on it since completion, we've only scratched the surface on this amazing bumper-to-bumper build - call for the full details and records. But already know how rare it is to find a custom that can shatter everyone's expectations and that's also turnkey ready today. So hurry and give us a call before the best Bel Air you'll ever see goes into new hands!
