Chevrolet Caprice 1991

General description : 1991 Chevrolet Caprice SS If you don't like going fast then you may want to move on to the next ad because this 1991 Chevrolet Caprice SS was built for speed.  Your first image of a "fast car" may not be a 90's Caprice but one spin around the block in this custom is sure to change that.  The car gets attention wherever it goes and if the custom paint doesn't turn their heads the sound sure will.   The base of the car is coated Black but that is then topped with custom Purple flame graphics up front that lead to the torn checkered flag on the roof and rear panels.  All of the glass is in good condition and has a dark tint which blends in nicely with the paint.  A custom hood is in place with dual scoops that give it a much more modern look.  Twenty inch polished out Boyd Coddington wheels are found under all four corners with Michelin tires. Probably the most eye grabbing feature on the car is the 468 big block motor sticking out of the hood.  It is topped with a 671 Weiand blower, dual carbs, shotgun style hood scoop and tons of chrome.  The car has an awesome sound through dual headers into Flowmaster exhaust which is routed out of the rear in custom Chevy bowtie tips.  The motor is paired with a 400 turbo transmission with 2800 stall that moves through the gears with ease.  The car has a ton of power and is extremely fun to drive.  Check out the following table to get a breakdown of the drivetrain which has less than 1,000 miles on it since built.   The interior is complete in Black leather with custom Purple SS lettering embroidered on the headrests and custom flames on the headliner.  The dash is the original style set up but has been upgraded with an aftermarket AM/FM/CD player as well as white faced Autometer gauges which are mounted in a custom polished bezel.  In addition to power steering and power brakes the car has power windows and power door locks.  A custom flame billet steering wheel sits in front of the driver and nicely tops off the tilt steering column.  The trunk of the car has been customized as well to house the Kicker Comp speakers and amps.  If you are looking for a car that is just as much fun to drive as it is to look at then come take this Caprice for a spin today.  We guarantee you won't be able to get that smile off your face.  Get it for a fraction of the build cost at $22,950.00!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
