Chevrolet Chevy II 588 CID Chevrolet Tall Deck Big Block 1962

General description : For sale in our Nashville showroom is a 1962 Chevrolet Nova, also known as the Chevrolet II. The incredible machine was built on Power Nation and it is rocking an insane 14.3:1 compression ratio. I don’t know how this motor does not blow the heads off the block, oh wait I do ARP head studs. This Chevrolet Nova that we have for sale contains a 588 CID Chevrolet GM tall deck sportsman big block with an Eagle Specialty Products 4340 forged steel crankshaft, 4340 connecting rods, and JE pistons. Fluid Damper harmonic balancer, trend performance custom length pushrods, Edelbrock Victor Musi 24-degree heads and Cometic head gaskets. Canton Racing Products valve covers, Jesel belt driver system and front mount distributor, and Jesel sportsman series shaft rockers. Wilson Manifolds and Edelbrock Victor Musi full custom EFI intake manifold. Crane Cams solid roller camshaft and Crane Cams Ultra Pro Mechanical roller lifters. Holley HP EFI fuel injection. Lemons Headers ceramic coated racing headers, 4” collectors. Meziere billet water pump and an E3 ignition Systems DiamondFIRE 6CDI Racing ignition box, 2 step rev controllers, racing ignition wire set and E3 tach adapter. Holley fuel filter, VR brushless fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator. Now that is a lot of power and performance in one vehicle, and I am not surprising knowing that it came from Power Nation. All of these power parts are tied to a Bowtie Overdrives Maximum Off Road TH400 transmissions. If you are not too sure what transmission that is all you need to know is that it has a power rating of 1500 HP. The exterior of this godly machine is black, and it has a red interior equipped with racing buckets and a five-point harness with roll cage. In its trunk is a mounted fuel cell and on top of that trunk is a Carl’s Aluminum works 200 MPH drag race wing. The shifter is a Turbo Action Cheetah automatic shifter. The transmission is tied to a Strange Engineering customer chromoly drive shaft which feed into a Currie F9 rear differential housing and Grizzly Locker differential with Yukon 4:56 gears and QA1 coil-over spring suspension front and rear. There is so much power in this machine I don’t know if you can even call it a car anymore. Personally, this is the best Chevy Nova I have ever seen. This Chevrolet Nova for sale is rolling on RC Component wheels and Mickey Thompson ET Street R rear tires, and Sportsman SR front tires. In order to stop this 900-horse power, beastly machine uses Wildwood drilled rotors and 4 piston brake calipers. With this Chevrolet Nova you will turn some heads when you put it in your garage so purchase this bad boy before it’s too late. This is a very unique vehicle and you get to say Power Nation built my car to all your friends and family. About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
