With the improvements bestowed on its brakes and suspension since the C2's introduction, it proved to be a potent combination of power and agility; something that Zora himself said he would be proud to take and show off in Europe.
According to the NCRS Shipping Data Report, this 1966 Corvette Coupe was sold new by Wood Chevrolet of Birmingham, Alabama. The car has been treated to a complete frame on restoration and the results of this are immediately evident. Beautifully rotisserie restored in its correct colors of Sunfire Yellow with black interior, this Corvette is a great example of a highly optioned car with desirable big block power..Open the hood and you’ll find a numbers matching 427/390hp motor with a Muncie 4 speed attached. This car is also optioned with a long list of desirable features including Power windows, Power Antenna, power brakes, 3.36 Posi-Traction, AM/FM radio, Teak Steering Wheel, Comfort and Convenience Group and Side Mount Exhaust. Since its restoration it has gone on to win NCRS awards, which validates the quality of this restoration.
