Upgraded LS2 Crate Engine & Modern Corvette Suspension
This 1962 Chevrolet Corvette Roadster has been with three lifetime owners, the most recent of which purchased it in 2008.  He informs us that the upgraded drivetrain was installed approximately 16,000 miles ago and recently he added a new radiator with an electric fan, new interior upholstery and had this classic recently serviced/tuned as well.  It is built on a Street Shop chassis and this muscle car looks incredible in person- additional details about the build are included below.
The Exterior
As you can see from the photographs, this 1962 Chevy Corvette Roadster has a sensational exterior with virtually perfect body lines.  Every panel lines up beautifully with the proper spacing and we do not see any real blemishes across the body.  Likewise, the paint is show quality and really makes this example pop with the excellent chrome finishing touches.  The soft top is also new in appearance and fits flawlessly, so this is easily the most impressive example you’ll witness this year.
The Interior
The interior of this 1962 Chevrolet Corvette Roadster features brand new black leather upholstery across the seating, door panels and dashboard with fully refurbished tachometers.  The carpeting is also new in appearance as is the trim work and chrome rear view mirror and glove compartment.  The like-new steering wheel is also period correct and this classic muscle car really takes your breath away; it is about as close to perfection as you’ll find these days.
The Performance
Out on the open road, this this 1962 Chevy Corvette Convertible is a true pleasure to drive with very nice acceleration and handling.  The ride quality could be compared to a premium level modern sports car since it does everything well, while maintaining the original look and feel of this coveted classic.  The upgraded suspension really takes this classic to new levels of driving enjoyment and the show quality engine compartment looks great while standing still.

Sizzling Performance at an Unbeatable Asking Price
Overall, this 1962 Chevrolet Corvette Roadster is a picture perfect classic that has been very tastefully modernized into a powerful street machine.  You simply won’t find this level of build quality or performance anywhere on the open market at the current asking price, so you absolutely must come in for a test drive before this one is back in a private collection for good.  For more information about this impressive vehicle, visit our Pleasanton, California showroom, give us a call at 925-484-2262, or email us at Sales@SpecialtySales.com.  Be sure to mention Stock # P10368 as well.

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
