Chevrolet El Camino 396 V8 1967

General description : GORGEOUS BIG BLOCK BEAST, 396 V8, 4 SPEED MAN, PB W/FRNT DISCS, NICE PAINT & INT

A 1967 Chevrolet El Camino in a slick all-black presentation, four-on-the-floor, and serious big block power... what more could you ask for? Make it all available for quite a nice price? Yeah, we can do that, too.
The only thing this El Camino looks like it was meant to do is haul on asphalt. The slick black paint has that has the unmistakable luster that comes from a solid investment. And the added pinstripe helps highlight how straight the sheetmetal is. This stellar presentation would not be complete without the chrome and stainless trim being in immaculate condition on everything from the wide grille, to the SS hood vents, to around the truck bed, to the freshly dipped bumpers that make this pickup look like a shining Chevelle. And of course, no aggressive vintage Chevy would look complete without a set of bright Rally wheels.
Just like the outside, the interior has a premium dark side. You can tell that if the seats, carpeting, door panels, or headliner was not up to standard, it was replaced with the correct material to makes sure it reinforces this quality midnight cruiser attitude. But this is not a complete sea of darkness. There's plenty of bright trim on everything, especially the full-width sweeping dash. And while you'll like all the factory-correct pieces, it's the performance upgrades that will grab most of your attention. Your left hand will be instantly attracted to the three-spoke sports steering wheel, your right one can't resist the Hurst shifter, and that huge AutoMeter Sport-Comp tach w/shift light instantly signals there's something special under the hood.
The stellar black presentation continues up front where the air topper and valve covers match the color of the painted engine bay, so you'll be proud to show off this total package. And these elements earn their aggressive red streak, too. After all, those fender callouts weren't lying. This is powered by a 396 cubic-inch big block V8. And more than just displacement, this one has all the right performance features, like a Holley four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock Performer intake, serpentine belt system, and long tube headers that add even more power as they contribute to the thunderous sound from the X-pipe dual exhaust. Best of all you're in complete control of this enhanced V8 and its intimidating soundtrack thanks to the four-speed manual transmission. And speaking of control, this one also comes with a thick sway bar up front, front disc brakes, and the overall Chevelle-like ride.
You would expect to pay a ton more for a such a great midnight El Camino with so much V8 power. So you absolutly know that a deal like this is going soon. Don't miss out, call today!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
