This Custom 1938 Chevrolet Master Deluxe Sport Coupe is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. Fresh off a major redesign in 37 the 38 would see only modest changes. Starting off with a base price of 660 dollars the sport coupe would be a direct competitor to Ford's highly popular coupe. Even today in the aftermarket world there is an equal number of Chevy's and Ford's that have been customized. Known as street rods people love to take the great looks of these old cars and put modern engines and interiors in them. The 38 Chevy for sale is a great example of what a "Street Rod" is. Start with the engine, the 350 has been chromed with every dress up piece imaginable to give it that show car look. Not wanting to just look the part an Edelbrock Hi Rise intake with Demon carb sitting on top gives this small block plenty of power. Mated up to a TH350 transmission the driveline is one of the most reliable and dependable ones on the road today. The 8 Inch Ford rear-end houses a set 3.08 gears so cruising the highway can be enjoyed while keeping the engine at low RPM’s. The interior on this beauty is where things really are taken to the next level. The Leather bucket seats our power controlled with a nice bow tie stitched into the headrest just to make sure you remember what you're in. The headliner is done with the same technique and looks great with matching stitches. The Stereo is where this rod really sets it apart with a custom enclosure outback housing two 12's powered by a 1000 watt amp. Mid’s and high's are also taken care of with two speakers in the back and two more in the lower front cab giving it one of the best sound systems I have seen in a street rod. Everyone likes their tunes a little different and with the 16 band EQ you can adjust it to pretty much anyway you like. Everyone has had the problem of nothing on the radio. Not anymore since you have Sirius CD and AM/FM you should always be able to find something. Yet still the best part is you don’t have to worry about finding that next car show with the built in Garmin GPS you can find your way no matter what.
