Chevrolet Other 350 V8 1984

General description : 1984 Chevrolet S10 Pickup When talking about the 80s model Chevy S10 pickup the words fast and badass probably don't often come up.  Well one cruise around the block in this custom is sure to forever change the way you think about the S10 pickups.  This custom pro street truck is not even close to what it came out of the factory looking like.  It underwent a complete overhaul and was built up extremely well to be one of the toughest looking trucks on the road.  It is coated in a very nice red paint with custom racing stripes that have ghosted flames running up onto the hood.  The stock hood was replaced with a tall cowl hood that has been modified to expose the Wild Bill scoop.  The front bumpers are painted to match the body and a custom billet grill was added.  In the rear a custom roll pan was created to house custom taillights and the rear gate has been molded in with a custom spoiler.  The truck has a full roll cage which is exposed in the bed and painted Red.  Looking at the side profile of the truck it is very obvious it's something you don't want to bet against.  The truck rolls around on Weld racing wheels with wide Mickey Thompsons in the rear.  Spinning those Mickeys is the built up 350 c.i. Chevy motor poking out from the hood.  It has been fitted with dual 4 barrel Edelbrock carburetors, an Edelbrock tunnel ram, a gear drive, chrome Chevy valve covers, custom hoses and much more.  Topping it all off is possibly one of the toughest looking air cleaners money can buy, the shotgun scoop.  It is nicely incorporated into the hood due to being painted to match the stripes.  A turbo 350 automatic transmission with 3500 stall converter paired with a Ford 9" positraction 3.73 gear rear end delivers power to the rear wheels.  Power disc brakes are used throughout as well as a power steering system.  The ceramic coated Flowmaster exhaust is routed out of the sides and delivers the perfect sound for a truck like this.    High back racing seats sit in the interior and are fitted with 4 point harnesses.  The dash has been customized with aluminum as were the door panels on both sides.  Pro Comp ultra light Autometer gauges were added to the dash with a large tachometer with shift light mounted on top.  Other nice interior components include the Grant GT steering wheel, Lokar shifter, Sony AM/FM/CD/Mp3 player and Sony speaker box.  The bed of the truck has a Black liner and was modified to make room for the large rear wheels.  It also now holds the fuel cell and optima battery. This pickup has no problem turning heads and is a hit wherever it goes.  A ton of work has been put into transforming the truck into what it is today and it has been very well cared for since.  You couldn't come close to building it for the asking price of $41,350.00! Motivated seller-will consider reasonable offers!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
