Other modifications to the body include the custom smooth tail gate, a rear rolled pan valance and fiberglass bed cover. It sits on 20" chrome Boss wheels which have been polished out to a great shine. The truck has been lowered 3 inches in the front and 5 inches in the rear to improve its looks and handling. Powering this pickup down the road is a 5.4 liter Triton motor that starts up with ease and runs smoothly. It is paired with a 4 speed automatic transmission to get the truck rolling. Air suspension is in place throughout as well as featuring a 4-bar style rear end with a panhead bar. All of the luxuries are there like power steering and power brakes making it a really easy driver. The interior is complete in the stock Grey but has been upgraded with Expedition bucket seats and center console. All of the original dash components are there and are working properly. It has a good AC system that blows cold and keeps you comfortable in the warmest temperatures. A tilt column sits in front of the driver which is fitted with the shifter, turn signal controls and cruise control. An AM/FM/Cassette player is in place and delivers a great sound. In back the bed has been topped with a nice aftermarket bed rug to protect the paint as well as whatever you toss in the back. The uses for a pickup truck are endless so make it yours today! About Ford
Ford, founded in 1902, has arguably changed the history of automotive world more than any other car manufacturer by introducing the first people's car Model T in 1908. After the war Ford cars in the USA got bigger and flashier along with their competitors. In the 60's Ford was back in the forefront again when introducing their commercial hit Mustang in 1964. Mustang was so popular the competition had to follow Ford's example and the ponycar phenomenon took over the US. Over the years the ponies grew some muscles until the oil crisis kill finally killed them off.
In the sixties Ford rushed into international motor sports scene with a fury. After unsuccessful Ferrari takeover, when Enzo Ferrari had cut the deal off with Henry Ford II making the latter absolutely boil with fury, Ford turned to Lola in UK to produce a Ferrari beating long distance racer after. The collaboration between Ford and Lola created the mighty Ford GT40 that absolutely beat Ferrari in Le Mans 24 numerous times.
In Europe, Ford introduced some of the most epic race and rally cars of the 60's based on humble family sedans; Cortina GT, Lotus Cortina, Escort Twin Cam, and Escort 1600RS with the iconic Cosworth BDA engines.
