Stk#076 1948 Ford Street Rod Coupe Painted a beautiful Gold and Cream BC/CC paint and is it every gorgeous. Dual outside mirrors, shaved door and trunk handles, grill, front & rear bumpers are painted. Eagle Alloy rims polished with 18" on front and 20" in rear with Nankang Ultra Sport NS II tires that are like new. Shaved wipers, remote door, and trunk release, V Butt windshield, all the glass is like new and tinted. 9" Ford rear end, new shocks on the front & rear, sub framed, power brakes. This Street Rod has a beautiful stance and does it ever get the looks. The interior is custom Tweed in Burgundy and Beautiful. Bucket seat in front and bench in back. Custom door panels sculptured and arm rest in Tweed. The dash is custom with Autometer gauges with white face and black instrument cluster recessed in the dash. Alpine AM/FM/CD player, dash painted a Satin Burgundy, Vintage Heat & A/C, tilt column with Billet knobs and Automatic on the column, Billet steering wheel wrapped in Burgundy leather, Autometer Tach mounted under the dash, Custom console with 2 Gauges, Autometer white face mounted. The Vintage A/C controls are mounted in the console with one vent, Stereo amplifier controls are mounted in the console, and Speaker mounted in the doors and are custom done. Power window switches in the doors, rearview mirror, and Lokar hood release mounted under the dash, back seat folds down, custom speaker mounted in the side panels in the back seat. Sculptured headliner in Tweed. Plush Burgundy carpet with Burgundy carpeted floor mats. Lokar gas pedal, seat belts, Billet door handles, window frames Satin Burgundy. Lokar brake pedal cover, hand brake mounted in the floor. Beautifully done and looks new. Running a 454 engine with 400 Automatic transmission, complete engine painted Burgundy, chrome 454 Logo valve covers, HPC headers, power steering, Electric fuel pump, electric fan, chrome Coolflex hose up top, Billet air cleaner is polished. Billet over flow tank, 4 core radiator, chrome oil dip stick, Quadrajet carb, smooth firewall and fenderwells, recessed firewall, all painted like the car. New dual exhaust Flowmaster with stainless Megs tips. The trunk is finished out and boxed in to look just like the interior. Runs and handles great. Very easy to drive and has a very comfortable ride. Will get up and run down the road.

About Ford
Ford, founded in 1902, has arguably changed the history of automotive world more than any other car manufacturer by introducing the first people's car Model T in 1908. They had produced more than 15 million cars by the end of the production in 1927, by which T had become obsolete.Ford launched the first low priced V8 engine powered car in 1932. 1932 V8 was an instant hit with superior handling and performance to many far more expansive cars of the day. No wonder 32 V8 Ford has become such a favourite among hot rodders around the world with 32 Deuce coupe as their icon.
During the war Ford completely shut down civilian vehicle production to dedicate all its resources to the Allied war efforts (1942-45) They used to build B-24 bombers, aircraft engines, jeeps, M-4 tanks, military trucks and Bren-gun carriers and more than 30,000 super-charged Rolls Royce Merlin V-12 engines for Mosquito and Lancaster bombers as well as P-51 Mustang fighters. After the war Ford cars in the USA got bigger and flashier along with their competitors. In the 60's Ford was back in the forefront again when introducing their commercial hit Mustang in 1964. Mustang was so popular the competition had to follow Ford's example and the ponycar phenomenon took over the US. Over the years the ponies grew some muscles until the oil crisis kill finally killed them off.
In the sixties Ford rushed into international motor sports scene with a fury. After unsuccessful Ferrari takeover, when Enzo Ferrari had cut the deal off with Henry Ford II making the latter absolutely boil with fury, Ford turned to Lola in UK to produce a Ferrari beating long distance racer after. The collaboration between Ford and Lola created the mighty Ford GT40 that absolutely beat Ferrari in Le Mans 24 numerous times.
In Europe, Ford introduced some of the most epic race and rally cars of the 60's based on humble family sedans; Cortina GT, Lotus Cortina, Escort Twin Cam, and Escort 1600RS with the iconic Cosworth BDA engines.
