Dodge Viper 8.0L V10 SFI OHV 1999

Allgemeine Beschreibung : Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a 1999 Dodge Viper GTS. Dodge shocked the world when they debuted the first generation Dodge Viper in 1991. With a V10 engine, a 6 speed transmission, and a whopping 400 horsepower, this was very exotic stuff for the time. The original Viper was very bare bones. It was an open air car without roll up windows, and had to be optioned with AC. This was a hit with some die hard enthusiasts, but many much preferred the more practical GTS that launched in 1996. The GTS had rear exiting exhaust, roll up windows, and a fixed hard top. Dodge also decided to boost the horsepower to an exciting 450. This power comes from a massive front mounted 8.0 Liter V10. This massive engine made necessary one of the largest and most exciting front hoods you will find. The hood has multiple releases that allow it to tilt forward revealing the entire front end of the car. This particular example has a rather fetching black with silver color scheme which is subtle yet sporty. The interior is very unique caramel colored leather which upscales the whole interior experience. With only 55,078 miles on the clock, it has been well kept and drives beautifully. The only modifications are a K&N Intake, and a custom exhaust system. The exhaust features M&M Long Tube Headers, Borla catalytic converter, and a Borla Cat-Back system. The result is an awesome note that will rival 10 cylinder Lamborghinis that are 5 times the price.
