Here's the car you want today because it's the one you never got as a teenager. This 1960 Chevrolet Impala has the tri-power V8, four-on-the-floor, and a terrific red and white combination seen throughout this bubble top coupe. Just as predicted by the exterior trim, the interior is a bold red with some tasteful upgrades. For starters, you'll instantly notice the custom addition of red velour on the seats. This makes the full-sized coupe even more comfortable and appealing for taking along family and friends. There's even an upgrade to a retro-style AM/FM/cassette stereo to keep them entertained. But the best seat is the driver's one. You get the stylized factory steering wheel, and beyond that, the pod-style gauges were quite sporty for 1960. Open the hood to see the king of 1960. The big block motor maxed out at 348 cubic-inches that year. Sure, we would eventually get to that displacement in the small block V8s. We know you love how the orange block and valve covers just seem to radiate power from inside that dark engine bay. Beneath the big black air topper is what makes this one the car of your childhood dreams. The triple dual-carburetor setup made these Chevys street kings, and every time you fire this one up, the rumble of the dual exhaust will let the world know. You get to harness the tri-power the best was possible with the control of the four-speed manual transmission. But more than just the best power and delivery, this Chevy also knows how to be a fine cruiser thanks to power steering and front disc brakes.
