Der „Bayern-Express“ M635 CSI debütierte 1984 und wurde insgesamt nur 5.855 mal gebaut. Er basiert auf dem E24 der schon 1976 auf den Markt kam. Respektvoll auch „Sharknose“ genannt war der M635 CSI die sportliche „Highend“ Ausbaustufe der 6er Serie von BMW. Dieses elegante -von Chefdesigner Paul Bracq entworfene- Coupé ist ein Meilenstein der Automobilgeschichte. Der im M635 verbaute Vierventiler M88 Motor stammte ursprünglich aus dem M1 und war mit zwei obenliegenden Nockenwellen und sechs Einzeldrosselklappen ausgestattet. ABS gehörte zur Serienausstattung, ansonsten war der M635CSI tiefergelegt und mit einem Sportfahrwerk sowie Differentialsperre ausgestattet um die hohe Leistung auch optimal auf die Straße zu bringen.Das hier angebotene Coupé stammt aus der letzten gebauten Serie und wurde original in die USA ausgeliefert. Der Erstbesitzer hat dieses Fahrzeug einfach vollausgestattet. Im Jahre 2007 wurde dieses Traumauto von einem BMW Enthusiasten nach Europa importiert und aufwendig gepflegt und instandgesetzt. In dieser Zeit wurde das Fahrzeug auch einmal neulackiert. Ausgeliefert in Schwarz mit Beige Voll-Lederausstattung, elektrischem Schiebedach, elektrische Sportsitze, sowie originalem BMW Radio-Kassette ohne Pixelfehler, Airbag, Klimaanlage, BMW-BBS Leichtmetallfelgen, Colorglas, 4 elektrische Fensterheber und Kühlbox in der hinteren Armlehne lässt die Ausstattung keine Wünsche offen.
