Cadillac De Ville 429 V8 1964

General description : 1964 Cadillac Sedan DeVille Big fins, long bodylines, and luxury are all descriptions that immediately come to mind when picturing a the classic Cadillac.  These luxury automobiles were the ultimate way to take the family out on the town.  The bodystyle was redesigned in 1961 and although the fins were smaller Cadillac kept that 50's style going all the way into the mid 60s.  This 64 was the last of its generation before they were redesigned again.  Long body length trim, dual headlights, angled taillights, and a lot of chrome were still major features of these cars exteriors and look great on this classic.  The car is all completely original throughout except for the AC system which has been replaced.  Other than that it is 100% an original survivor 2 owner car.  It has 69,637 original miles on it and looks great.  The body is totally rust free and free of any previous body work.  The passenger rear door does have a crease in it but it was purposely left in place to keep the all original status.  It isn't super noticeable in person because there was no paint damage and the owner wanted to preserve the integrity of the car so left it untouched that way it is entirely up to the new owner if they want to address it or not.  The original paint is the numbers matching Turino Turquoise and looks good.  All of the original trim and chrome looks good as well.  It rides on its original wheels/hubcaps with thin white wall tires that are new. The numbers matching 429 V8 under the hood starts up and runs well.  As we mentioned above the AC system has been replaced and the radiator rebuilt but other than that it is all like it was when it left the factory.  It has a hydramatic transmission that shifts well with no issues.  It is a factory power window, power brake, power steering, power seat and AC car all of which is working properly.  It has had new wheel cylinders and brake shoes installed for maintenance purposes.  The interior is all original as well and looks great.  It has been very well cared for since new and it shows.  The seats, carpet, headliner are the original Turquoise.  Everywhere you look is exactly what you would see back in the 1964 showroom.  Everything on the car works too with the only exception being the clock.  The trunk of the car looks good and houses the original spare. The car also comes with its original manual. All original cars like this are becoming more and more difficult to find.  It is a special piece of history and would look right at home in an Cadillac collection. This classic Caddy could be yours for $20,750.00!

About Cadillac De Ville
The Cadillac DeVille is a full-size luxury car that was produced by Cadillac from 1959 to 2005. The DeVille nameplate was used for many of Cadillac's top-of-the-line models during this time period.

The DeVille was known for its luxurious features, spacious interior, and smooth ride. It was offered with a range of powerful engines, including V8 options, and was available as a two-door coupe, four-door sedan, or convertible.

Throughout its production run, the DeVille underwent several redesigns and updates, with notable changes including the adoption of front-wheel drive in the late 1980s and a name change to the Cadillac DTS in 2006.

The DeVille was a popular car among celebrities, politicians, and other high-profile individuals, and it was often used as a symbol of luxury and success. Today, the DeVille is considered a classic car and is highly sought after by collectors and enthusiasts who appreciate its elegant styling, comfort, and performance
