Chevrolet 210 350 - CID V8 1956

General description : Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this clean 1956 Chevrolet 210 2-door sedan. If your looking for a turn-key cruiser that you can take to your local car shows and have a good time, then this is the car for you. The 210 is a trim level just below the iconic Bel Air produced by Chevrolet. Even though is isn't the top of the line trim level, the build quality of this car will certainly contend with some of the Bel Airs out there. Powered by a 350 CID V8 crate motor, this car is neither over-, nor under-powered; but more of right where it needs to be for a cruiser. Paired to a rebuilt 700R4 transmission you have no issues grabbing each gear when accelerating into the powerband. The power is driven to the back tires through the Ford 9" rear end which features 3.08 gears. With upgraded suspension, this car rides smoothly as well. Other bonus features include 4-wheel disc brakes, power steering, power brakes, ceramic coated headers, and cold blowing A/C. Walking around the car you will notice it's a Tri-Five painted in something other than turquoise and white. This 1956 Chevrolet 210 is painted in a very nice Orange and White color combination. The chrome trimming and bumpers are in great shape as well. The interior of the car is certainly worth mentioning. Completely re-upholstered to give the car a more modern look certainly makes it show worthy. The custom center console breaks the inside of the car up and gives you the added benefits of cup holders as well. The tilt wheel also allows for a little extra leg room if your one who has more of a lateral advantage than others. About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
