Chevrolet 210 350 V8 1955

General description : 1955 Chevrolet 210 It is a beautiful car, but don’t let the pretty view fool you…there is something lurking under that big, all Detroit steel hood! Under that hood lurks a ZZ3 350ci V-8 pulling 345 horsepower and over 400 ft./lbs. of torque. It gets the juice from an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor/intake set-up while you get through the gears through the 4-speed transmission with Hurst shifter. The engine is decked out with chrome Chevy head covers, braided hoses, Street Wire wiring and performance gauges at the front. Coming out the lower-half are chrome headers that flow down to the dual exhaust all the way to the chrome tips. The car sounds great sitting or tearing down the road when you get on the power. Outside you will find a green and white paint scheme that is in great condition over a rust-free body. All of the original emblems and bright work are in excellent shape as well. The chrome gleams whether in the sunshine or under the lights, only accenting the iconic hood emblem and rear bumper. The car sits on 17-inch American Racing wheels and like-new Goodyear tires. The overall stance of the car is perfect to go with its performance. The interior sports newer upholstery with the original headliner and door panels being in nice condition. The dashboard and kick plates are painted in the same green as the exterior tying everything together. The dash itself is also in great shape holding the original speedometer, new Retro radio and clock by the passenger seat. It has a new chromed steering column with a GT steering wheel attached just in front of the tachometer complete with shift light. Below the dash are the toggle controls, push button starter and a full set of SunPro gauges. The trunk has been redone with an alligator textured vinyl that conceals the main and auxiliary batteries with exposed posts for ease of use. This well-built, powerful and unique colored ’55 Chevy is being offered for only $34,900.00! This car is being represented for a collector in the Seattle, Washington area.

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
