For sale in our Dallas-Fort Worth showroom is a 1955 Chevrolet 3100. This vehicle is the true definition of a “barn-find” & has been a Texas-truck all its life. The original owner purchased this truck new back in 1955, he then used it on a farm and finally stored it in Carrolton, Tx for many years. The owner sadly passed away in 2016, where the vehicle then became available in an estate sale and was purchased by a restoration shop based out of Hurst, Tx. The shop upgraded a few things but focused on keeping the originality of the truck, examples are the dash and glass on the truck, it’s all believed to be original- some things they did upgrade: Deluxe Vintage Air Conditioning, Powder coated the chassis, Power Brakes, Power Steering, & it appears they added a new woodgrain bed too. The engine is an SBC 350 tied into a TH 350 Auto transmission, which provides plenty of horses, to move this all-steel body around. They’ve also decided to preserve the blood, sweat, and tears experienced with this truck by clear-coating the patina. All this sets on a sweet set of American Racing Wheels.
