Chevrolet C10 250 CI Inline 6 1969

General description : QUALITY TRUCK FOR THE $$, R134 AC, 250 I6, 3 SP, PS, PB W/DISC, FRESH NICE PAINT

This 1969 Chevrolet C10 walks a nice line between upgraded classic and cool honest pickup. So no matter if it's the bright paint, A/C interior, or correct-style engine bay, you're looking at a very desirable truck for quite a nice price.
The mixture of vintage and new starts with the body. We love the look of the stepside bed pickups, and the straight panels tell you this one was respected all its life. But the classic appeal gets downright sporty when combined with a recent application of a bright clearcoat red. It really highlights all the curves – from the plateau of the hood, to the full rounded rear fenders. And while the upgraded black tonneau cover looks great against the red, underneath that you'll still find the classic real-wood truck bed (also in a tasteful black.) Even this vintage/modern mix applies to the brightwork where the new factory-style bumpers shine as bright as the upgraded 20-inch polished alloys.
Inside the red and black theme continues. This is a clean and comfortable space that was built for somebody who enjoys driving their classic pickup. After all, this has great upgrades like the grippy black and chrome steering wheel, a handy column-mounted tach, and an AM/FM/CD stereo. And while the sliding rear glass will provide you with the perfect old-school truck breezes, the modern R134a air conditioning is there to supplement that on all the hot days.
Lift the hood and see a true marvel. Hardly any of the smooth running 250 cubic-inch straight-six motors are seen in '60s vintage Chevy trucks anymore. Despite the fact that these anvils of a motor were the backbone for the company's dependability reputation, they often get replaced by the small-block V8s. We understand why this happens and sell plenty of those custom trucks. But with so many of those out there, it's refreshing and rare to see money invested into making this era-correct workhorse present so boldly and look so tidy. As we mentioned before, this is a driver's truck, and so you get to take full control over it with the classic column-mounted three-speed manual transmission. Plus, with power steering, front disc brakes, modern Goodyear RS-A tires, and the C10's sought-after trailing arm rear suspension, this is a terrific cruiser.
Complete with owner's manual, if you're a truck person, you already are excited about the investment made into this Chevy. So at an affordable price like this, it's time to hurry up before this deal is gone. Call today!!!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
