Chevrolet C10 1983

General description : BUILT 454 V8, 700R4 AUTO, A/C, PWR STEER/BRAKES, CLEAN IN/OUT, 20" WHEELS, WOW!!

Huge big block power, overdrive transmission, an A/C interior, and it's all wrapped around a slick red body that carries the best of old school and new school looks. So yes, this 1983 Chevrolet C10 Scottsdale really has it all.
Classic truck guys remember Dodge's Lil Red Express, and this custom build is what Chevy's answer would have been. After all, the bold red paint gives a serious aggressive attitude to the bow tie's blocky sheet metal. The bright bumpers, billet grille, and mirror-like Chevy lettering on the tailgate add even more flair. You can tell this is true street machine by the upgrades like the cowl hood, wide exhaust pipes on each side, and the large 20-inch Ridler wheels. But it also never loses its roots. This has that great classic truck charm with the traditional stepside bed that allows for a real-wood bed floor. And since the oak they used to upgrade this looked so good, they also added glossy side rails from the same lumber!
Inside is more of the custom red attitude. It starts with a bench seat that has a nice pattern to give extra individual bolstering to the driver. Plus, this generation Chevy truck was great about giving the driver a sports car-like wraparound dash. So you'll slip behind the upgraded Grant wood-rimmed steering wheel, and it's an easy reach to everything, including the AM/FM/cassette stereo. You'll love opening the vent window and sliding the rear glass to get the old school truck breezes. And on any day those are too warm, you have cold-blowing R134a air conditioning to keep you comfortable.
When you open the hood, you know this truck doesn't mess around. There's a 454 cubic-inch big block filling in the fender walls. It looks great with a glossy presentation and plenty of high performance stickers. And more than just have the logos for upgrades, this big V8 is enhanced further with go-fast goodies like an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intakes, and long tube headers that feed the growling side pipes. This is a big power machine, but there's much more to the build. For example, you have a large radiator w/electric fan to help keep this running cool even if you're in traffic and running the A/C. Plus, this was upgraded with a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission that can handle all the big power while also providing overdrive comfort. Starting to get the full picture? This is a fine any time machine, and the power steering, dual fuel tanks, and front disc brakes add to this appeal.
This truck is a cool custom creation with all the right upgrades. So to find something this bold that's turn-key ready is a true opportunity you don't want to miss. Call now!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
