Chevrolet C10 230ci 6 cylinder 1965

General description : 1965 Chevrolet C10 Pickup With the first generation of C10 pickups a new body style was introduced along with many firsts for the pickup.  One big change was the introduction of the independent front suspension and a frame redesign that allowed the cab to sit lower.  This resulted in a pickup that still had the utility of a truck but rode a little more like a car.  This great looking 65 C10 is the stepside, short bed, small rear window model and was very well built.  In 2001 the current owner purchased it from the original owner and in 2016 did a body off restoration on the truck.  It has since had only 1,000 miles on it since finished out and is currently used as a show truck.  The body is in great condition and painted in a Harron White with White pearl.  It has a very clean looking exterior and the bumpers and grill were painted to match.  It is totally rust free and solid throughout.  The beds on these old trucks is a thing of beauty and this one was entirely redone top to bottom and features Oak wood with nice White painted slats.  The original glass is all in good shape and the front windshield is tinted.  The truck has been lowered 3 inches all around and it has a great stance sitting down slightly lower from stock.  The Rally wheels are also painted White and looks great with 3 inch wide chrome beauty rings and center caps.  Under the hood sits the original 230 c.i. 6 cylinder motor that was gone through and resealed during the restoration process.  It runs great and the truck really handles well.  The engine compartment is extremely clean with everything finished out nicely.  One look at the motor and you can tell it has been recently redone.  The engine, manifold and valve cover are painted the correct Chevrolet Blue.  The surrounding engine compartment was paid just as much attention with a white painted firewall, black painted underside of the hood and all of the black components like the inner fenders and radiator support are actually powder coated.  This not only keeps them protected for many years to come but makes it super easy to clean.  The exhaust is all new and sounds great exiting just behind the drivers side rear tire.  The transmission is a 3 speed manual on the column and it shifts smoothly.    The interior is all new and also done in Harron White with Gray and Gray bench seat.  This thing has been very well cared for since finished out and it shows.  The upholstery work and carpet are new.  The dash has the original style layout with the factory radio, gauges and components.   If you always wanted a 65 C10 but didn't have a chance to buy one new this thing is the perfect fit for you.  As it sits it is just as nice if not nicer than one rolling off the factory line in 1965.  Add this C10 in your collection for the reduced price of only $32,500.00 $26,000.00!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
