Chevrolet C10 Pickup Truck 1970

General description : A perfect blend of timeless style and proven mechanicals, this handsome C10 is a first-rate exercise in classic, old school utility and modern, resto-mod swagger. And if you're looking for a super cool cruiser that can be enjoyed for years to come, it's the sinister street rod of your dreams!
USA-1
When it comes to collector cars, few vehicles have aged better than late '60s and early '70s Chevrolets. And that goes double for something as undeniably immutable as a storied Action Line pickup. This striking C10 is a solid farm soldier that's been subjected to a detailed, ground-up restoration. Paint is delightfully simple, with glossy clear sealing rich black base. And subtle detailing highlights a roster of choice upgrades. Those upgrades begin with a smoothed, Satin Black bumper, which frames a Satin Black grille that's finished with billet bars and modern headlights. At the edges of that grille, a sleek profile floats billet mirrors, billet handles and subtle LS3 banners between bright boom tubes and filled marker lamps. Those mirrors reflect a smoked, flush-fit greenhouse, which slides one-piece side glass behind polished wipers and a polished cowl screen. A clean bed centers a polished fuel filler betweem filled stake pockets. And at the back of the truck, a second smoothed, Satin Black bumper contrasts billet, LED taillights.
LS NATION
Donated by Pontiac's storied G8 GXP, this resto-mod's 415 horsepower LS3 is excitingly athletic and appropriately rambunctious! At the front of the engine, custom cold air plumbing funnels wind into a composite intake by way of a factory throttle body. Under that $1,000 of tubing, a polished March serpentine drive spins modern power steering amid a polished alternator and a polished AC compressor. At the sides of those ancillaries, short MSD Super Conductor plug wires split stainless headers and lovingly massaged fuel rail covers. In front of those covers, a 'CHEVROLET' branded core support teams a bright aluminum radiator with big electric puller fans. Everything communicates well thanks to a Speartech ECM, a Speartech TCM and quality tuning by Lakewood, New Jersey's Performance Systems Integration. And details like standalone wiring, a familiar Holley oil pan, a muted brake booster and billet Eddie Motorsports hood supports ensure first-class performance and presentation.
OPTIMIZED FOR ENJOYMENT
Bottom-side, a smooth 6L80 6-speed, sourced from the same GXP as the engine, twists torque to a dressed and vented 12-bolt that's finished with a quality Eaton posi. That proven powertrain pushes a tough factory chassis that's been upgraded with RideTech StrongArm control arms, RideTech StrongArm trailing arms, a beefy RideTech MuscleBar sway bar and adjustable RideTech air bags. Modern power steering makes parking easy and turns a cinch. Stops come courtesy of four power-assisted calipers, which squeeze four drilled and slotted rotors. The aforementioned headers feed rowdy Flowmaster mufflers. A 600 horsepower fuel pump drains an alloy Tanks Inc. tank. And at the edges of the floor, 18-inch Rally replicas spin traditional stainless trim inside 245/50 Goodyear Eagles and 275/45 Goodyear Eagles.
GLOWING FROM WITHIN
Installed by JB Auto Upholstery of Raleigh, North Carolina, the truck's comfortable leather cockpit serves as a warm contrast to an otherwise stoic demeanor. Power-operated buckets frame a tall console that's centered on a refashioned G8 GXP shifter. A leather-wrapped dash hangs clean Dakota Digital VHX telemetry next to modern Kenwood audio and familiar Vintage Air climate control. Plush carpet flows to bowtie-branded sills, which reflect custom side panels that split big kick speakers, remote-controlled door locks and power-operated windows. A first-generation Silverado roof console surfs a custom headliner. And the driver spins a billet, wood-rimmed steering wheel around a modern, tilting column.
If you're looking for a cool classic that mixes a great restoration with unmatched style and instant fun, check out this sweet Chevy! It's well-restored. It features a proven GM drivetrain. About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
