Chevrolet C10 Restomod 1968

General description : Description
Extra clean, extra sleek, extra bold, and extra powerful all mean this 1968 Chevrolet C10 Restomod gives you all the extras you really want. So look over everything from the upgraded V8 power to the custom A/C interior, and soon you'll see you need to be extra quick to catch this pickup.
The metallic silver paint instantly sets this one apart. It's a quality application that loves to radiate in the sunshine. This luster brings out the crisp lines of the pickup. Plus, it gets even more aggressive with everything from the cowl hood to the large dual exhaust tips. They also added sleekness everywhere they could, like the clear headlights, hidden gas filler, flush rear roll pan, and clear taillights. This one really does have all the little extras that make it that much cooler. Even the Chevrolet script on the tailgate lights up at night! And the red bow tie in the grille and red centers of the 18-inch polished alloys not only offer a hint of color, but also give you a preview of the interior.
The red just seems to radiate from the moment you open the door. It's not overpowering, but it does immediately draw your eye. And while this is vibrant, it also has plenty of quality, too. The nicely bolstered split bench seat meant giving the driver bucket-like comfort while still being able to fit three across. The red of the seat coordinates with the door panels, dash pad, sun visors, and steering wheel for a thoughtful total presentation. In fact, speaking of thoughtful, this has some nice upgrades you don't find in many classic pickups. It includes power windows, added sound deadening insulation, and cold-blowing air conditioning. This was also upgraded to be a great driver with aluminum foot pedals, a polished tilt steering column, and a full Omega Kustom gauge package, including the large tach.
The ultra-smooth inner walls of the engine bay mean you have an award-worthy presentation under the hood. It puts the small block on display, and this V8 is worth showcasing. That's because it makes plenty of power with upgrades like a Holley double-pumper four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock performer RPM intake, and Hedman headers feeding the rumbling dual exhaust. There are also nice supporting pieces, like the Optima red top battery, cast aluminum valve covers, electric fan, and upgraded pulleys. While this is a powerful package, it's also made to really be driven. That's why you have features like a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, upgraded drilled & slotted front discs, and the C10's desirable trailing arm rear suspension.
This is a well-done full build where even the frame was made to look extra tidy. So when you want to be awesome from every angle, don't miss this custom Chevy with all the extras. Call now!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
