Chevrolet C10 Pickup Truck 1967

General description : It's no secret that Chevrolet builds some of the most celebrated trucks on the planet. From the 490 Series forward, every generation has found a solid following and, eventually, firm footing in the collector car world. Over the past few years, we've featured plenty of show stopping bowties, and this sleek Action Line resto-mod is just the latest in a series of sweet Chevy head turners. Mixing 6.2 liters of buttery LSA V8 with a tough 6L90 6-speed, and slick street rod aesthetics that'll park well at any show, this clean classic is simply fantastic. Shopping for a choice collectable that mixes timeless swagger with svelte style? Take a close look at this awesome C10!
BAD IN BLACK
Fully sorted and ready to roll, this sweet Chevy walks a fine line between sport and shine. Under the truck's rich two-stage, a solid fuselage hangs clean panels that have been carefully massaged by the pros at Easley, South Carolina's King's Kustomizing. And that body's combination of great reflections and flat surfaces illustrate how, over the course of this classic's five-year, six-figure build, quality certainly took precedence over time. A nicely contrasted grille hangs LED parking lamps between trick United Pacific headlights that are finished with nicely contrasted buckets. A shaved hood fronts color-keyed wipers, which clear a tinted greenhouse that's finished with muted trim and one-piece side glass. Billet mirrors reflect a sleek profile that's been shaved of everything but polished handles and custom exhaust outlets. Behind the cab, an aluminum bed floor swirls monochromatic texture around a billet fuel filler. And at the back of the truck, traditional taillights frame a smoothed tailgate and a requisite roll pan.
BADDER WITH A BLOWER
This pickup's top-notch restoration is built around 6.2 liters of stout LSA V8 that pumps out a massive 556 horsepower straight for the factory! Exclusive to the second-generation Camaro ZL1 and second-generation Cadillac CTS-V, the LSA utilizes a lightweight aluminum block and big Eaton blower to spin up an easy nine pounds of boost. Inside the internally balanced mill, a forged crank, powdered connecting rods and hypereutectic pistons join a low-lift roller cam to create stout 9.1 to 1 compression. That compression is managed by reinforced, LSA-specific heads, which hide lucid roller rockers under factory coils and factory valve covers. Those heads get fed by Aeromotive fuel components, which are a perfect complement to a custom air tube, a factory throttle body and a remote filter element. Beneath that tube, a heavy duty serpentine belt spins a muted alternator opposite a muted Sanden AC compressor. A color-keyed radiator keeps things cool with the help of a polished expansion tank and dual SPAL puller fans. Exhaust is handled by coated Hedman Husler Hedders. And the truck's crisp silver engine bay is dotted with first class accessories like polished tanks, tailored wire sleeves and a familiar Wilwood master cylinder.
THE WAY IT SHOULD SIT
Behind that trusty powerplant, a smooth 6L90 6-speed, likely sourced from the same low-mile CTS-V as the aforementioned LSA, twists torque to a tough 12-bolt axle. Everything rolls low and mean on a fully adjustable QA-1 suspension that's built with big sway bars, tubular control arms, coil-over-shocks and tubular truck arms. Power rack-and-pinion steering makes parking easy and turns a cinch. Quick stops come courtesy of power-assisted discs, which clamp hard in front of Belltech drop spindles. The aforementioned headers feed heat-wrapped Black Widow mufflers, which roar through stainless, Mandrel-bent pipes. Choice detailing includes a custom fuel tank, an electric parking brake and two Optima batteries. And power meets the pavement through sweet Budnik Knifes, which spin 235/50R20 Pirelli Scorpion Zeros in front of 305/40ZR20 Pirelli P Zeros.
THE STYLE IT SHOULD BE
Swivel the doors and you'll reveal a lovingly customized cockpit that's classy in all the right ways. A sculpted TMI bench looks great between modern shoulder belts and fade-free carpet. A stylized dash hangs tasteful Dakota Digital telemetry beside cool Vintage Air conditioning and a Kenwood touchscreen head unit that bumps big kick speakers. Sculpted door panels point billet handles in front of quick power windows. A long Lokar shifter rides a handsome console between metal foot pedals and a billet rearview mirror. The driver spins a Budnik GTV steering wheel around a tilting column. And modern conveniences include Keyless Entry and Pushbutton Start.
Perpetually cool and visually stunning, this awesome Chevy is a classic example of the skill and creativity that defines our hobby. Backing great presence with excellent restoration, it presents the rare opportunity to land a well-done showstopper that's fresh, formidable and ready to shine. Don't miss your chance to own this sweet C10!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
