Chevrolet Camaro 350 CID V8 1972

General description : Gateway Classic Cars is proud to offer this stunning 1972 Chevrolet Camaro SS. This incredible K Code 350SS car comes painted in DuPont Black with Grey RS/SS racing stripes – and she runs and drives beautifully! (1Q87K2N149257) Under the hood sits a 350CID V8 bored .030 over paired to an automatic smooth shifting TH400 with a 10bolt rear-end and 3.73 gears (Hughes Performance 2000 stall converter). Internals include an Edelbrock 2102 Cam Kit, double pump heads, a high performance water pump, and HV oil pump. She fires right up on the first crank and rumbles like a muscle car should. The entire engine bay is an incredible sight to see as it is well organized and extremely clean. New accessories like the brake booster and master cylinder, hood braces & springs, alternator, radiator and pullies, all stand out against the painted to match engine compartment and color matched silver fender walls. Bolted to the block is a set of headers, and Edelbrock Carburetor and Performer Manifold, as well as a new distributor, cables, and plugs. Just under 3,000 miles is all that is on this recently rebuilt motor. The premium DuPont paint and painted Grey SS stripes shine brilliantly in the sun against the chrome bumpers, aluminum American Racing Wheels and Falcon Tires. The new black vinyl and velour interior (Factory Deluxe) is in outstanding condition with minimal signs of any wear and tear. The dash shows no signs of any sun fading or cracking, and the new headliner is nice and tight with no sags. No expense has been spared as you can see even the dome light works. Underneath is just as clean as the top with all new seals, bushings, bearings, grommets, and air shocks producing one hell of a comfortable ride. Other modification include a new fuel tank, lenses and lights, Optima battery, H-Pipe with dual Flowmasters, new body mounts and sway bars, Pioneer stereo and speakers, and all new fluids. Start this muscle car up and she rumbles to life with an outstanding rumble and great throttle response. She even still has that new car smell. Whether you’re looking for a cool daily driver, or something badass to take to the car shows, this 1972 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS will be a fantastic addition to a car collection of any size.
