LMC is very proud to offer for sale this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro

The story of the COPO (Central Office Production Order) Camaro is well known among muscle car enthusiasts. The ability to order specially equipped high-performance cars, unknown to the general public, was a loophole around the rules of GM. Making the average iron block 427 Camaro look an everyday occurrence is COPO option code 9560, or ZL1 as it's better known. With only 69 produced all together, ZL1's are the rarest, and desirable Camaros ever built. They had an all-aluminum (block and heads) 427 cubic inch motor that was light and produced a tremendous amount of horsepower. With only professional racers in mind, the cost of this optional drivetrain was an astronomical $4,160, more than the price of a base model V8 Camaro.

The product of a rotisserie restoration, this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro replicates the incomparable highly coveted ZL1-powered COPO 9560 as ordered from the factory by Berger Chevrolet of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Beneath the cowl-induction hood is an all-aluminum ZL1 427/430 HP engine with transistorized ignition and factory-style chambered exhaust driving a M21 4-speed manual and 4.10 Posi-Traction rear differential. This Camaro is finished in the attractive and desirable Daytona Yellow outfitted with the desirable Endura front bumper, vinyl roof, front spoiler and rear spoiler. Complemented by a factory correct Black interior with factory tach and center-mount in-dash fuel gauge. To complete the look are a set of painted steel wheels wrapped in F70-14 Goodyear Polyglas Tires.

As original ZL1’s are extremely rare and valuable, this Camaro provides the same driving experience and look for a fraction of the price. Add to the fact that this car has been nut & bolt restored to be a very correct example and you have a very authentic build. Don’t miss the opportunity to add this to your garage today!
