Chevrolet Camaro LS3 6.2L V8 1967

General description : This stealthy Camaro is a head-turning stunner that mixes spry LS3 power with a tough 4L70E 4-speed and choice aesthetics. The beneficiary of a detailed, ground-up restoration, this slick Chevy wraps a traditional Super Sport nose stripe around silky Charcoal 2-stage that's both glossy and crisp. At the front of the car, a stylish Rally Sport grille hangs a bright 'SS' emblem between electric headlights, Rally Sport parking lamps, a fresh bumper and a requisite D80 chin spoiler. Behind that grille, a textured Super Sport Hood leads tinted glass that's seated under modern wipers, painted drip rails and straight stainless frames. At the sides of that hood, a clean profile plants retro Camaro badging amid bowtie-stamped mirrors, traditional door handles and cleanly integrated 'LS3' banners. And at the back of that profile, a D80 deck spoiler shades a satin Super Sport valance that's finished with tasteful taillights, Rally Sport reverse lamps, an SS fuel cap and a second chrome bumper.
Check this Chevy's smoothed and billet-trimmed engine bay and you'll find 6.2 liters of hot LS small block that, with the help of a polished air tube and a lightweight aluminum radiator, creates a solid 480 horsepower. Behind that mill, a smooth 4L70E 4-speed twists a 12-bolt Moser axle that's been narrowed by two inches, stuffed with a posi-traction differential and dressed in a mirrored inspection cover. Those cogs drive a full Martz chassis that, with the help of quality mini tubs, welded subframe connectors and adjustable QA-1 coil-overs, aligns an independent front-half with a 4-link rear-clip. Torque is steered through power rack-and-pinion steering. Quick stops are a cinch thanks to a familiar Wilwood master cylinder, which jolts red Wilwood calipers that grab 12-inch drilled and slotted rotors. Factory GM manifolds push exhaust through aluminized pipes that are formed around rowdy glasspack-style mufflers. And at the corners of the chassis, aggressive Foose Knuckles twist 245/45ZR17 Sumitomo HTRZIIIs in front of 285/35ZR18 Sumitomo HTRZIIIs.
Between the doors, you'll find a Black Deluxe Interior that's been fully restored and tastefully updated. Striped bucket seats look and feel fantastic. In front of those seats, a stainless-trimmed dash hangs Vintage Air climate control next to electroluminescent telemetry that's cased in a body-matched instrument panel. A modern console props a leather-wrapped TCI shifter behind modern JVC audio. That seat, dash and console trifecta is completely framed by fade-free carpet, a straight package tray and Deluxe side panels and that include big kick speakers. And the driver spins a chromed Super Sport steering wheel around a tilting, body-matched column.
