Chevrolet Camaro 383 Stroker 1967

General description : Now for sale in our Houston showroom is this eye catching 1967 Chevrolet Camaro. This car breathes American Muscle and is great for tearing up the street and getting all those car lovers to turn their heads. This car had had a complete rotisserie restoration according to the owner and shows well. Built as a Yenko tribute car, it certainly is the talk of the night at most car shows. If you're not familiar with the term “Yenko" to keep things short it originates from Don and Frank Yenko a father son duo who ran Yenko Chevrolet out of Canonsburg, PA. They were known for selling customized muscle cars in the late 60s which have become some of the most collectible cars to date. The '67 Camaro is powered by a Blueprinted 383 stroker that packs a strong punch. While it may not be the 427 like Yenko built them back in the day, it can still put a smile on your face. You can punch through the power band using the ratchet shifter and the Turbo 400 transmission can certainly handle it. With an estimated 582 miles on the build, this Camaro has years of life left in it. If your looking to lay down some rubber, the 3.08 gearing and posi-trac rear end should certainly help with that. Keeping the car from squatting on a launch if you decide to make a few passes down the track, traction bars have been added as well. When getting up to high speeds, it's just as important to stop, so a new brake booster and front disc brakes were added as well. All new bushings, and suspension certainly give the car a smoother ride as well. The interior is just as clean as the outside. With custom bucket seats, new gauge cluster, and overall fresh look this car is ready to hit the road. After owning the car for the last 5 years, the current owner has decided to let someone else enjoy the fun of this classic muscle car. Don't waste a minute on this one as it's not likely to last very long as you certainly couldn't build this car for less.
