Chevrolet Camaro SS 1969

General description : This classy Camaro is a head-turning stunner that mixes storiede big block power with a tough Muncie 4-speed and choice aesthetics. And if you're ready to feel the breeze behind the wheel of a storied Detroit legend, it's a chance to turn your lust-worthy dreams into fantastic reality!
AS IT WERE
The beneficiary of acute restoration that's been completed as needed, this authentic Camaro Super Sport leads correct Dover White pigment with traditional Chevy hockey stripes. At the front of the car, a stainless-trimmed grille points a bright 'SS' emblem between T3 headlights, clear parking lamps, a mirrored bumper and a familiar D80 chin spoiler. Behind that grille, a textured Super Sport Hood leads stainless-trimmed glass that's seated between matte wipers, factory mirrors and tight Black vinyl. At the sides of that hood, a clean profile plants Satin Black rocker guards beneath retro Camaro badging, traditional door handles and optional quarter louvers. And at the back of that profile, a D80 deck spoiler shades a Satin Black Super Sport valance that's finished with tasteful taillights, a prominent 'SS' emblem and a guarded bumper.
3, 9 AND 6
If you wanted to factory-order a top-of-the-line Camaro in 1969, you had one option: 396 cubic inches of proven Detroit iron! At the top of this Camaro's Chevy Orange block, a correctly decaled air cleaner funnels wind in to a big Quadra Jet carburetor, which is mated to a painted factory intake. At the sides of that intake, polished valve covers reflect fresh Packard TV R Suppression cables above correct heads and cast iron exhaust manifolds. At the back of those covers, a factory-style distributor rides between a rebuilt wiper motor and a fresh brake booster. Opposite that distributor, a factory radiator sends coolant around a shrouded fan via pliable hoses and reproduction tower clamps. And naturally, this Chevy's impressive engine bay, framed in Satin Black fenders and correct gray hardware, is clean and well detailed.
LOOKS GOOD, DRIVES GOOD
The car's raucous big block slings torque through a tough Muncie 4-speed, which spins a familiar 12-bolt axle. That pumpkin pushes a factory-spec suspension that's been augmented with factory power steering. Stops are provided by a factory combination of power-assisted discs and drums. Exhaust flows from the aforementioned manifolds into big, true-dual pipes that bark through a familiar transverse muffler. And power meets the pavement through stainless-trimmed Rally Wheels, which spin 225/60R15 BF Goodrich Radial T/As in front of 255/60R15 BF Goodrich Radial T/As.
CLASSIC AND SIMPLE
Between the doors, you'll find a correct Black interior that, according to the car's owner, is still largely original. Short bucket seats look and feel fantastic. In front of those seats, a stainless-trimmed dash hides modern climate control behind factory telemetry and a Delco AM/FM radio. A wood-trimmed console props a polished shifter behind Chevy's beloved 4-pack accessory gauges. And the driver spins an attractive Rally Wheel around a tilting column.
