New to our Pleasanton showroom is this gorgeous 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu Super Sport 2 Door Convertible with quality white exterior paint and a black vinyl interior. You’ll find the factory 283 cid V-8 engine under the hood with the numbers-matching automatic transmission, and this ultra-desirable classic has been beautifully maintained across two different Bay Area owners throughout its lifetime. With a mere 53,658 lifetime miles, this beautiful muscle car is ready for the open road for years of future enjoyment.

The current owner of this 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu Super Sport Roadster purchased it way back in 1988 from the original owner and he informs us that he has only driven it on special occasions (holidays, local parades, etc.) over the past 29 years. This prestigious classic was originally sold in Pleasanton, California and it appears that it has remained local its entire life. Additionally, the current owner informs us that the original factory motor has never been rebuilt and this beauty has been kept bone stock throughout its life. Almost nothing has changed over the years except for the oil and the brake pads- it’s about as true of a survivor as you’ll find anywhere these days.
In terms of its present condition, this 1964 Chevy Malibu SS Convertible shows excellent in person with exceptional paint, a near perfect laser straight body, and sensational factory chrome that still shines like the sun. All of the badging, trim work and other accessories appear to be correct as well and the folding soft top is also in very nice condition. Additionally, the interior is super clean throughout with only slight wear to the interior seating and carpeting. All factory gauges are still in place though as is the radio, floor shifter and everything else you’d expect from a high end survivor. You have to see this one in person to realize what a rare find it actually is.
