Chevrolet Chevelle 396 V8 1970

General description : SS TRIBUTE, BIG BLOCK 396 V8, 4SPD AUTO TRANS, PWR STER/BRAKE, AFFORDABLE & FUN!

You know exactly how much you should be paying for a 1970 Chevelle Super Sport tribute. So while the price grabs your attention, this also has big block power, slick paint, and newer components. That's how you know you're looking at a terrific value on an iconic muscle machine.
It's hard not to take notice of an aggressively red Chevelle done right. After all, the iconic fastback style looks particularly slick in a newer application of this cherry hue. In fact, the modern clear coat combined with good body panels results in the kind of coupe that highlights all the classic design lines. So you're going to love watching the sunlight roll over the whole body. Plus, it has all the right aggressive touches like the black SS stripe package, Rally wheels, and the power bulge of the cowl induction hood. With the new bumpers shining like mirrors, this classic hardtop really knows how to make a lasting first impression.
Inside are some nice upgrades mixed with iconic touches. For example, you have a great black interior package that looks great against the exterior red, but now those high-back bucket seats are now covered in a comfortable cloth. The right iconic pieces are in place like the horseshoe shifter in the center console. But there are also nice driving upgrades, like the tilt steering column, AM/FM/cassette stereo, provisions for air conditioning, and auxiliary gauges mounted in the dash.
Under the hood is what we all want in our Chevelles: big block power. This 396 cubic-inch V8 looks nice in the engine bay with the bold orange block, polished valve covers, and matching air topper. Plus, you can spot some nice investments in supporting components – everything form the alternator to hoses. But what you really want to know about this big block is that it has been enhanced with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor. So there's plenty of power and a terrific rumble out of the Flowmaster dual exhaust. But while this Chevelle might sound beastly, it's quite easy to tame on the streets thanks to the four-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and front disc brakes.
A terrific price on an aggressive and iconic big block Chevelle. Oh yeah, this one won't be sticking around very long. So don't miss your chance. Call now!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
