1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 468 Four Speed 12 Bolt AC Corvette Disc Brakes clone
Here we have a 1970 Chevy Chevelle for sale. In 2010 this Chevelle had a beautiful restoration done and has been restored as a Resto Mod Super Sport. Under the hood it packs a punch with a prebuilt 468 Big Block and has been upgraded with Vintage Air AC & Heat along with Custom Corvette Four Wheel Disc Brakes. When you look at the body on this Chevelle you can see it's solid with excellent body lines. This Chevelle has the working Cowl Induction Hood. Everything is covered in the Tuxedo Black that is accented by the White Stripes that are under the clear. All the paint has wet sanded, buffed, and polished to a gorgeous shine. This body has great fit of the doors and inside the jams and in the trunk is very nice. New weather stripping was installed at the time of the resto along with new window seals. This '70 has had the bumpers replaced and the rest of the chrome and stainless is in excellent condition as well. The final exterior touch is the set of 18” and 20” Rev Wheels on the corners that are wrapped and custom Red Line Tires.
Next, we will look at the interior of the '70. On the inside it's done in the classic black which is the perfect Complement to the Black and White Exterior Combo. It does have bucket seats and console which houses the Four Speed Shifter. Also done in black are the door panels, carpet, and headliner that were replaced at the time of the resto. Looking at the dash you can see that it has the Super Sport Round Gauges and that it has had the upgraded gauges added under the dash to keep a better eye on that pro built 468. It comes set up with a tilt column along with the custom grip wheel and the Vintage Air controls are in the factory location. In the trunk it all appears to be solid and has beautiful detail.
Finally, we will look at the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood the inner fenders and firewall were painted at the time of the resto and help to really show off a gorgeous detail. This Chevelle is powered by a 468 Big Block that has an Aluminum Edelbrock Intake with a Holley Carb. It's dressed in the Chevrolet Bow Tie Valve Covers and Chrome Air Cleaner with the 454 Call Outs. The transmission is Muncie 4 Speed that's mated to a 12 Bolt Rear End. The exhaust flows through manifolds, dual pipes, and flow master mufflers. This '70 is set up with factory Power Steering and Power Brakes that have been upgraded to the custom Four-Wheel Disc Brake Package with 6 Piston Calipers up front and 4 Piston Calipers out back. Also, this Chevelle has Vintage Air Heat and A/C. When you look under the Chevy all the floors and frame appear to be in great condition. It has the front and rear sway bars as it should, and the gas tank has been replaced along with the fuel lines.
