Description : Gateway Classic Cars of Detroit is proud to present this 1966 Chevrolet Corvair monza. This example is of the second-generation produced 1965-1969 that included a body redesign. This beauty carries the 164 "turbo air" flat 6 cylinder engine. It was able to produce 110 hp and is mated to a 2-speed Corvair Powerglide automatic transmission. The 66 Monza also received fully independent suspension for improved handling. This particular Corvair is wearing a mist blue paint on the exterior, black vinyl seats on the interior and a white convertible top. Features include a power top, wire wheels, am radio, white wall tires. According to the owner, the top and exterior paint are new, as of 2005 and still looks great! Whether you want a top down cruiser that is great on gas, or a car you can take around turns on a track at near full speed, this little car can do it all!
