General description : For sale in our Fort Lauderdale showroom is a beautiful 1968 Chevrolet Corvette C3 Convertible. 1968 was the first year Chevrolet released their C3 series. Any car enthusiast in the world knows what a C3 is and probably everybody wants one. The third generation Corvette, patterned after the Mako Shark II concept car, was introduced for the 1968 model year and was in production until 1982. C3 coupes featured the first use of T-top removable roof panels and it was available as a convertible. This beautiful example of a 68 C3 convertible just rolled into our South Florida showroom. If you are looking for a beautiful driver stop looking. Here it is. The Vette comes in a great color combination. A red exterior in combination with a white soft top and black interior. The paint is in good condition and looks great in combination with the front and rear chrome bumper. Of course, white letter tires wrapped around Rally wheels are a must. The interior is clean and looks good. There are no rips in the seats or cracks in the dashboard. The real fun starts when you turn the key and take her out for a spin. Under the hood you will find a 327ci V8 engine that is connected to an automatic transmission. It is a pleasure to drive this Vette. She is fast and a comfortable cruiser. About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
