The fourth-generation of Chevrolet's legendary Corvette celebrated many significant milestones. Within that 12-year span of awesome sports cars, two models continue to ascend the collector car market. There's the LT5-powered ZR-1, an aluminum-intensive marvel that introduced four times the cams and a bit of European flair to the bowtie division. And then there's the mighty C4 Grand Sport, a one-year salute to America's greatest sports car. The ZR-1 has always been a fan favorite. But, being a special production car from day one, and being produced for a solid six years, it's become somewhat of a staple at most Corvette shows. While that's certainly not a bad thing, the Grand Sport, which borrowed much of the ZR-1's DNA, is by far the more exclusive collectible. In fact, Chevrolet only built 1,000 C4 Grand Sports, assigning the trim to 810 coupes and 190 convertibles. And Grand Sport number 394, one of only 197 coupes fitted with Black interior accents and an FE1 suspension, is a pristine survivor that's rolled only 13,446 easy miles.
