Chevrolet El Camino 383 CID Stroker V8 1965

General description : For sale in our Saint Louis Showroom is a 1965 Chevrolet El Camino. This 1965 El Camino is finished in bright white exterior paint and features a turquoise vinyl interior. The turquoise interior is almost all new. The vinyl upholstery and carpet have been recently replaced, and look fantastic. The air conditioning works great and keeps everyone cool on hot summer days. Providing the unique look and stance are the 20 chrome aluminum/alloy wheels, that resemble the awesome and iconic IROC-Z wheel design. A wheel designer simply took the wheel design and modernized it by enlarging and chroming them. It worked so well, people started putting the wheels on everything, not just Camaro IROC-Zs. Low profile radial tires provide an almost all wheel appearance, completing the custom look. The odometer reads 80,301, but the actual mileage is unknown. Options for this 1965 Chevrolet El Camino include Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio, Vinyl Interior, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Seat Belts, Radial Tires, and Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. This is a classic El Camino with a few modern features that combine for an awesome look and stance. This El Camino is ready for your local show and cruise. About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
