General description : This 1966 Chevrolet El Camino 2 Door Custom Pickup (Stock # F13339) is available in our Fairfield, CA showroom and any inquiries may be directed to us at 707-419-8200 or by email at Sales@SpecialtySales.com
Beautiful, Stand Out 1966 Chevrolet El Camino Pickup
The next amazing classic up for grabs in our Fairfield showroom is this gorgeous 1966 Chevrolet El Camino 2 Door Custom Pickup with glistening Marina Blue exterior paint and an excellent black vinyl interior with bucket seats, the functional  knee knocker tach and console clock. This originally rolled off the assembly line as a small block V8 before its current transformation, combining both power and performance. You’ll find a professionally rebuilt 396 cid V-8 engine under the hood with a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission, power front disc brakes, a 10-bolt rear end and so much more.  This highly desirable classic muscle car is in fantastic condition as well and it’s been driven a mere 5,000 miles since the drivetrain was overhauled.
Pristine Body Lines from a Very High End Restoration
The current owner informs us that this 1966 Chevrolet El Camino took possession back in 2015 shortly after this beautiful classic was painstakingly restored by the 3rd owner.   During the restoration effort, the exterior body has been smoothed to perfection and painted with factory-correct Marina blue and polished to a mirror finish.  The chrome work, trim and glass were all refreshed at this time as well and still shows excellent in person.
Likewise, the interior shows at a very high level with only the slightest levels of wear.  Most would consider this example well above the typical driver-level since a large portion of the unblemished factory accessories are still in place.  This is a very complete example throughout and needs nothing to be enjoyed right away.
Additionally, this 1966 Chevrolet El Camino Custom is a sensational performer on the open road with a nice stance and exceptional muscle.  Its 360 horsepower engine has an unbelievable sound from the pipes and gets down the road in a hurry, with nice handling and solid braking power.  You’d be hard-pressed to find a more correct example with this level of refinement.
Date Code Correct 396 V-8, Knee Knocker Tach & More
Overall, this 1966 Chevrolet El Camino Custom Pickup is a gorgeous, highly original muscle car that has been restored to show-quality levels.  It is a true investment grade classic that’s available at a steal of a price, and there’s simply no way that it remains available for long.  For more information about this vehicle, visit our Fairfield, California showroom, give us a call at 707-419-8200, or email us at Sales@SpecialtySales.com.  Be sure to mention Stock # F13339 as well.

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
