Backing this heavy duty engine is a Firebird 6 speed manual transmission with Z06 clutch and Hurst shifter. The drive shaft was custom made by Dynotech to mate with the Eaton HD posi rear end. Gear ratio on this rear is 4:11 feeding into Moser axles. Rear suspension is a custom setup with air lift coil overs to give you complete control of ride and handling. As impressive as the running gear is on this truck the interior and body are built to match. Bathed in a custom blue metallic paint with silver SS logos youre bound to get attention at car shows and the local cruise. The interior uses white leather Grand Am power seats and custom door panels, real wood dash, and new carpet. Auto meter gages replace the factory setup and provide a very modern look while keeping an eye on all the functions. With all the amenities of a modern car such as 12 disc CD changer, AM/FM stereo, A/C, power windows, power locks, power seats, cruise control and remote keyless entry its hard to go wrong in regards to creature comforts. Finishing off the looks on this vehicle is a set of American racing mag wheels that highlight the 4 wheel disc brakes and when paired with the rolled and smoothed rear adds a super clean modern look to this ute. This is definitely a clean resto mod that is built to be driven and enjoyed with and attention to fit and finish that is hard to find, every piece on this El Camino looks factory installed.
