Chevrolet Impala 350 V8 Crate 1959

General description : 350 V8, TH350 AUTO, PWR STEER/BRAKE, VERY CLEAN IN/OUT, THOUSANDS INVESTED, WOW!

Hardtop sedans are one of the coolest classics around. So when that's added to one of the most distinctive Chevy designs ever, and it also gets upgrades like a crate V8, custom interior, and terrific colors, you soon realize this is one of the most interesting and complete classics you can pick up right now.
The Impala was an all-new design in '59, and the front end was one of the most distinctive designs to date. But there's so much more that's grabbing your attention on this classic. It has been given terrific custom touches like large Ridler alloys with an aggressive 18/20-inch front/rear stagger. There's also a modern application of Midnight Blue Metallic paint that's the perfect canvas to showcase all the bright work around the car. These custom pieces go nicely with the uniqueness of this classic. While all the Chevys had wraparound front glass, only the hardtop sedans had wraparound rear glass, too. There's even a hint of overhang on the roof for added sporty style. Speaking of the roof, the white paint matches the color in the side trim for a very smart two-tone appearance. But the piece we all marvel at the most is the trunk. The deep "V" channel that also forms the tailfins was one of the most daring looks ever put to sheet metal, and this was an exclusive design for '59.
Inside the blue and white continues. There was a solid investment here because there's a custom presentation of the seats, door panels, carpeting, headliner, dash, and steering wheel. In fact, this well-coordinated total color package inside and out is exactly what you want on a hardtop, because it's so easy for people to see it all. This is a full-sized sedan, and so there's plenty of room for family and friends. Plus, there are modern features housed in a custom center console like the AM/FM/CD stereo, cup holders, and provisions for air conditioning to keep them all happy. But this is also a true driver's classic. There's a front folding armrest for individual comfort. The artful dual spoke steering wheel leaves plenty of room to see the sporty gauge panel with large speedo flanked by auxiliary readouts.
Chevrolet's 350 cubic-inch small block V8 is a great addition to this cruiser. Not only is it a fresher crate motor, but it also has some nice performance upgrades like a Holley four-barrel carburetor and Edelbrock Performer intake. There's a sweet rumble out of the newer Dynomax dual exhaust, which is just begging to go out cruising this weekend. And when you do hit the road, the power steering, automatic transmission, and front disc brakes make the trip a breeze.
Complete with build receipts, you're looking at a truly distinct and custom Chevy. So if you like to get attention in your classic, don't let this one slip away. Call now!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
