Chevrolet Nova 1972

General description : For sale in our Detroit showroom is a striking 1972 Chevrolet Nova. Dressed in a beautiful bright Cranberry Red paint, this Nova looks amazing. This street beast is powered by a professionally built 427 CID Big Block V8 with a nice Lunati cam that lets onlookers know you mean business as soon as they hear it. This sinister big block carries a set of aftermarket heads, Edelbrock dual feed carb, electric fuel pump, and is dressed with many chrome accessories. The power provided by this beast is run through a 4-speed Muncie M22 transmission with a Hurst Shifter. The driveshaft is plugged into a GM 10 bolt rear end stuffed with 3.42 gears. Monitoring everything that is going on with the engine is a great looking new gauge cluster tucked nicely into the dash to make sure your Nova is doing exactly what it was built to do. The interior is very nicely done in period correct black vinyl to give you that nostalgic Detroit Muscle feel. You can also enjoy great stereo quality thanks to the modern radio hidden away inside the glovebox which is powered by an Alpine amplifier in the trunk. Whether you're heading to your local cruise night, going to the drag strip, or just going out for drive on a sunny day, the Nova will give you all the driver comfort you want. While the headers and Flowmaster exhaust give you that heart pounding muscle car sound that you need, this Nova comes together as one awesome muscle car! Options on this vehicle include: AM/FM radio with CD Player, power steering, power disc brakes, tilt wheel, vinyl interior, and American Racing wheels wrapped in newer radial tires. About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
