Chevrolet Nova 350 V8 1973

General description : DESIREABLE '72 FRONT & REAR, #S MATCH 350, AUTO, PS, PB, FACT AC, GORGEOUS PAINT

This 1973 Chevrolet Nova offers a terrific mix of originality and upgrades to create a V8-powered classic that will have plenty of stories to tell. So dig in deep to the details, because this is a classic with true personality.
This coupe was born a Dark Metallic Green car, but that's only the beginning of the story. It was given a full respray in 2010 as part of a comprehensive investment, and this Nova has been treated with respect ever since. So you get a hint of what this was like originally, but now with a deep clearcoat luster that the factory could never have provided. And the upgrades don't stop there. Keen eyes will notice this has the cleaner front end of the '72 cars, and the rear was updated to match. Plus, there are nice aggressive upgrades like the cowl induction hood, race-style gas cap, and polished 15-inch torque thrust-style wheels.
Inside the factory-correct green interior looks nice, especially with the correct green fabric inserts for extra comfort. With the door panels, dash, carpeting, and even the trunk all finished nicely in coordinating hues, this is a unique green machine inside and out. This has nice original features like a speedometer as long as the horizon and provisions for factory air conditioning. But there are also plenty of room for upgrades. You get an AM/FM/CD/XM radio with an upgraded subwoofer stereo system. Plus, there's a sports steering wheel, auxiliary gauge trio, and large SunPro tach. While that will give you a nice performance feeling, your favorite piece will definitely be the Don "Big Daddy" Garlits autograph on the glovebox.
Under the hood is the numbers-matching 350 cubic-inch V8. Just like the rest of this car, they have the original pieces treated them to some nice upgrades. So the original V8 looks great with the bold block paint, bright air topper, and flame-etched valve covers. It inhales deeply with the upgraded Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor and Edelbrock intake. The long tube headers add even more power as it also allows it to exhale with authority from the dual exhaust. This powerful package is done right with the three-speed automatic transmission even being rebuilt in 2008. And when all you want to do is cruise, this Nova obliges with power steering and power brakes.
Complete with build receipts, this is a strong-running Nova that is the ideal mix of originality and cool upgrades. Something this appealing won't stay here long at this price, so call today!

About Chevrolet Nova
The Chevy Nova is a compact car that was produced by Chevrolet from 1962 to 1979, and again from 1985 to 1988. While it was not initially marketed as a muscle car, it was offered with a range of powerful engines that made it a popular choice among enthusiasts.

In particular, the Nova SS (Super Sport) was a high-performance version of the car that was equipped with a range of performance upgrades, including larger engines, heavy-duty suspension, and upgraded brakes. The most notable engine options included the 327 cubic inch V8 and the 396 cubic inch V8, both of which produced impressive horsepower figures.

The Nova SS was a popular choice for drag racing, and it became a symbol of the burgeoning muscle car scene in the 1960s. It was known for its simple and lightweight design, which made it a popular choice among racers looking to modify and tune their cars for maximum performance.

Today, the Chevy Nova is still a popular classic car, with enthusiasts drawn to its simple and stylish design, as well as its impressive performance capabilities. While it may not be as well-known as some of the more iconic muscle cars from the era, the Nova remains a significant part of American automotive history and a beloved classic among collectors and enthusiasts.
