Chevrolet Other 1975

General description : 1975 Chevrolet Laguna S3 400 V8 Automatic Trans Power Steering Power Disc Brakes
Here we have a 1975 Chevrolet Laguna S3 for sale. This was the rarest production year for the Lagunas as only 7,788 of them were made. This one is a factory U Code 400 V8 car. When you walk around it you can see that body is all rock solid with excellent fit of the panels. All the body lines are beautiful and the gaps are even and symmetrical. The glass is in great condition as well along with all the stainless and emblems. It's done in the Red with White Stripes and the paint has a gorgeous shine to it. The body on this '75 is laser straight down the sides and it's easy to see how well it's been cared for. To finish off the exterior it's sitting on a set of 15” Americans with BF Goodrich Radial White Lettter Tires.
Next, we will look at the interior of this Laguna S3. On the inside it looks to be mostly factory and is done in the Red that flows perfectly with the exterior. It does have the swivel bucket seats that are working on both sides. The console is in great condition along with the dash that has the woodgrain accents that ties into the factory steering wheel. All of the factory gauges are working with exception of the original Clock. You will also notice that the door panels are in phenomenal condition along with the Carpet and Headliner. In the trunk it's all rock solid and has the factory jack and spare.
Finally, we will look at the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood it's powered by the period correct 400 Engine that is dressed like it would have been from the factory with the factory style air cleaner and breather. It's setup with a Edelbrock Carb and Quadrajet Carburetor. It's mated to the 350 Turbo Trans and the 10 Bolt Rear End with around a 2.73 Gear. For exhaust it has the stock manifolds with Single muffler and Cat. The brakes on this Laguna S3 are Power and have Disc up from with Drums out back. It also comes with Power Steering. When you look under it everything has been cleaned and detailed. All of the frame and floors look to be solid and in great condition. On the highway this Laguna is a pleasure to drive as it doesn't carry a lot of wind noise and all of the steering and brakes is excellent.

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
