Chevrolet Sedan Delivery 230 CI Inline 6 1948

General description : Description
Just the sight of a classic panel wagon gets everyone from surfers to business owners excited. But when this 1948 Chevrolet Sedan Delivery is upgraded with a sleek look and a comfy A/C interior, well then, you know it becomes an irresistible classic to everyone.
The glossy black and well-done stance instantly gives this a cool mix of vintage and hot rod flair. In fact, the whole car shows off a well-done combo of classic style with some added streetwise attitude. You have the best in vintage appearance with the shining chrome bumpers, art deco grille, and added windshield sun shade. Plus, there's nothing cooler than a fender design so long that it extends into the doors. Nicely mixed into this look are great custom details, like the side mirrors, antenna, dual exhaust tips, and the genuine wire wheels.
Sedan delivery vehicles were developed for utility, but this custom build makes sure to add in plenty of luxury. It starts with an interior finished in a two-tone silver and black. There are nice comfort upgrades, like C3 Corvette high-back bucket seats, an AM/FM/CD stereo with aux input, and cold-blowing R134a air conditioning. This has an upgraded driving experience with a Chevy NK4 steering wheel on a tilt column, and beyond that are a full set of crisp Dolphin gauges. And the full cargo area in the back means you can still you this one for deliveries or just be a hit at every tailgating event.
Under the hood, this one continues to mix vintage and upgrades. You still have the classic Chevy inline-six style, but its 230 cubic-inch inline 6 is better than what was available in '48. Not only does it have a cool Offenhauser ribbed head cover, but also there have been some upgrades in pep with a Holley dual-barrel carburetor and split headers feeding the true dual exhaust. It fires up readily, idles smoothly, and runs nicely. Plus, the aluminum radiator with electric fan is there to help this one run cool even when you're in traffic with the A/C pumping. So if this is starting to sound like a great driver, then you'll also love the right easy cruising features, like the three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, and an updated independent front end featuring disc brakes.
This is a classic that will look just as good in your garage as it would in front of your business. So we know there are plenty of people who want it just like you. That's why you shouldn't delay, call today!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
