General description : Fantastically fine Citroen DS 23 Pallas DX4. This model was the absolute top at the time with its 2.3 DX4 engine, two-stage Weber carburettor producing 124Hp, leather interior trim and semi-automatic transmission. It was registered in the Netherlands some 22 years ago and remained in the same hands ever since. Over the years this car has always been more then perfectly maintained by a Dutch DS/ID specialist. One can clearly see that the owner never scrimped on maintenance. Naturally carefully documented with various invoices. The bodywork has straight and well-aligned body panels. It has a wonderful 70’s brown metallic finish with a cognac leather interior trim. This is a superbly preserved and maintained carburettor DS 23 with only 111,427 on the clock! About Citroen
French industrialist André Citroën had been building arms for the French army during WWI by the end of the war he was left with great industrial facilities but no product for the post war market.

In 1919 he founded Citroen that became the first mass-production car company outside the USA[3] and a pioneer of the modern marketing as well as factory backed services network. Mind you, even Eiffel Tower served as a billboard for Citroën from 1925 to 1934 -Mon Dieu, monsier!

Soon Citroën earned a reputation for innovation and revolutionary engineering. Staying true to their slogan "Créative Technologie" Citroën has many "firsts" under their belt:
