Our Citroën DS23 Pallas was first registered on the 17th of September 1973. The “Pallas” denoting the most luxurious DS version. The Citroën DS23 is not surprisingly driven by a 2.3-litre engine, in this case via a 4-speed semi-automatic transmission. The car itself is in great condition. The bodywork is have been very well cared for and has fine and correctly aligned panelwork. The “blu Delta” finish has again been very well looked after and is unblemished. For cosmetic reasons, the car was re-sprayed to a high standard at some stage. The well-fitting brightwork is in good condition. Inside the car, we find the then optional black leather trim in good shape has developed a lovely patina. The rest of the interior is also nice and trim. All controls switches and gauges work as they should. The carpets look wonderful. The well-maintained 2.3-litre engine runs smoothly. The engine develops 112 Ps allowing it to zoom along the road in all comfort. Let us be clear, comfort is what this DS23 Pallas is all about. About Citroen
French industrialist André Citroën had been building arms for the French army during WWI by the end of the war he was left with great industrial facilities but no product for the post war market. In 1919 he founded Citroen that became the first mass-production car company outside the USA[3] and a pioneer of the modern marketing as well as factory backed services network. Mind you, even Eiffel Tower served as a billboard for Citroën from 1925 to 1934 -Mon Dieu, monsier!
