This is an exemplary example of a Contemporary Classic Motor Car Company, Inc. representation of Carol Shelby's iconic Cobra. This particular Cobra is from the 3rd generation of body molds depicted by the Vin number. Contemporary Classic Motor Car Co. CCX-3-3510 427 SC. This car just recently went through a reconditioning consisting of a rebuilt engine, rebuilt transmission and rebuilt rear end. Whatever this needed to perform at its best was afforded to this car. The previous owner spared no expense bringing and keeping this classic to the level that it is today and that level is paramount. Your first impression will be a fantastic one. Starting with looks... the Guardian Blue with Arctic White striped icon catches your eye. The exteriors brilliance is contrasted by the NEW BF Goodrich Radial T/As, NEW Cobra wheels, White side-pipes and the chromed bumper guards in the front and the rear. The side pipes were recently powder coated which gives this car quite an eye and the sound that comes out of them is just heavenly. The drive... the feel from the steering wheel, the 4-wheel disc brakes and the independent suspension gives you the sense of complete control. Sitting in a comfortable, almost wrap-around bucket seat takes you straight into track car mode both physically and in your head. Just knowing you will have the ability to throw yourself back into the seat on take-offs as much as you are comfortable with is quite a rush. This 427 cubic inch "Side Oiler" engine represents Mr. Shelby's cars to the T' and some say this particular company, for the time, put out one the closest representations out there. Don't let anybody fool you...this engine is a BEAST and should be treated like one. It has dual 4-barrel carburetors, Cobra Billeted valve covers and a 2 into 1 Billeted Oval Cobra air breather. There is NOS plumbing hooked up at the engine and ready to go BUT let it be known that it has never been used and the tank in the trunk has never been filled. Also, in the compartment you will find an electric fan. The recently rebuilt manual 4-speed and rear end work together as new. The shifter inside is a very short throw and does not take much effort to run it out. The interior is also in awesome shape. Two black bucket seats welcome you separated by the 4-speed shifter. Both the drivers and passenger sides have racing safety belts. The carpet and seats are tearless and are like a very low mileage car should be. The Tudor and Smiths gauges all work and have clear glass.The car itself takes you back to why you liked to drive in the first place. This is an exceptional car and has been taken care of with the attitude of being the best it could be.
