Dodge Coronet 383 V8 1969

General description : SURVIVOR, ACT'L MILES, ONE-OWNER, #'S MATCHING 383 V8 & TF727 AUTO,TIME CAPSULE!

These is nothing more coveted than a great classic that was cherished by only one owner. So take a close look at this 1969 Dodge Coronet Super Bee. Not only is it a rare hardtop Mopar with its original big block V8, but it has also spent nearly a half-century with its original owner who has been less than an hour from our showroom.
Kathy wanted to get this car just right. She waited for Helms Chrysler in Monroe, NC, to get a Super Bee in this color combo, and her patience paid off. Copper Poly is a great classic color that carried the earth tones of the late '60s with some added flair. There was one respray about three decades ago, so the condition still gives it a survivor-like quality - right down to the correct optional Bumble Bee stripe on the rear. And you know Kathy loved this car – only averaging less than 1,600 miles annually. More than just an extraordinary story, you want this Dodge because of its mix of speed and style. The optional Ramcharger hood has aggressive dual scoops that are mirrored by the faux dual vents on each quarter panel. Overall, the Super Bee has a wide stance that looks like it wants to own the road. But this one has extra class that goes with its intimidation factor. Broad chrome bumpers, optional Mag-style road wheels, and the correct tan vinyl roof give this a great classic car presence.
Another place you can tell this was a thoughtful purchase is the interior. The original tan looks like someone mixed the colors of the exterior copper paint and the light vinyl roof. So the whole package coordinates nicely inside and out. This one came with a long list of options, so you get sought-after pieces like bucket seats, a center console, and full instruments w/tach. It's far from perfect, but those who go to enough car shows know that this condition will get people asking if its original. And there's nothing we can find here that's been replaced. Even the spare tire in the trunk is original – this is a true survivor-level experience!
You know exactly why this one gets your heart racing the moment you lift the hood. The 383 cubic-inch V8 in the engine bay is the original high performance motor to this Mopar. The whole presentation looks fantastically original with the orange big block and bold air cleaner that properly seals to the ram air hood. Topped with a four-barrel carburetor, this makes a terrific rumble from the dual exhaust. But beyond just power and performance, this one is a fine cruiser thanks to features like the original A727 three-speed automatic transmission and power steering.
A story like this needs the right paperwork to back it all up. That's why you get the original window sticker, warranty card, owner's manual, maintenance records, and other historical docs. Even the original gas tank can be made available. You're looking at a desirable Mopar that's made irresistible by its one-owner history. Opportunities like this are rare and fleeting, so don't miss your chance. Call now!

About Dodge
Dodge Brothers Company, founded by Horace and John Dodge in 1900, initially produced components for car manufacturers. In 1914 they stepped into car manufacturing when introducing four-cylinder Dodge Model 30 with all-steel body and 12v electric system.

By 1920 Dodge had become the second biggest car manufacturer in the USA, unfortunately the same year both of the brothers died, the company in turn to was sold to Chrysler Corporation in 1928. Dodge found a niche Chrysler Corporation lineup above low-priced Plymouth and medium-priced DeSoto, but somewhat below the top-of-the-line Chrysler
