Ford Bronco 351 V8 1978

General description : 1 OF 89 IN THIS FACT COLOR COMBO, MARTI REPORT, 351 V8, PS, PB W/DISC, SOLID 4X4

You can get all the workhorse features you want in a 4x4 SUV, and still not have to give up the cool custom vintage appearance. Best of all, this attention-grabbing 1978 Ford Bronco with premium Ranger XLT trim will cost you less than a brand new 4x4.
You just don't see classics like this anymore. The factory-correct Light Jade is an interesting color that only gets more distinctive thanks to a recent professional respray. And the white roof and white wheels almost have a two-tone effect that gives this the feeling of a Ford truck of an even older vintage. Plus, all the brightwork on the chrome bumpers, trim, and large trailering mirrors makes this one an instant classic. But despite very vintage appearance, the younger age means this truck still has a lot of practical daily use left in it. In fact, the full-sized spare on the swing-away mount and full trailer hitch make this a Bronco that's ready for all activities.
While you can take the white roof off to make this a convertible 4x4, you can instantly tell from the condition of the interior that this has not spent much time exposed to the elements (if ever.) And this level of preservation and investment inside gives you a fantastic presentation where a where the exterior light jade is now complemented by a darker jade on the dash, door panels, and seats. In fact, this color combo is so unique, this is only 1 of 89 Broncos in this trim combo (and we have the Marti Report to prove it!) As a premium Ranger XLT trim package you get some nice wood grain appliques on the doors, steering wheel, and dash. Plus, the power rear window and factory front buckets with cup holder center console are more great premium and period-correct features. And while you have the full factory gauge package right in front of you, an auxiliary gauge trio cleanly mounted below the dash helps you keep an even better eye on this classic.
Powering this Bronco is Ford's trusty 351 cubic-inch V8. This already powerful motor gets enhanced even further by inhaling deeply through a Holley four-barrel carburetor. But beyond added power, it all looks particularly nice with the chrome air filter, bright blue valve covers, and newer belts and hoses. It really keeps a well-maintained appearance, right down to the factory jack still mounted in the engine bay. But as good as this looks, it'll be hard to resist taking this one off the pavement considering it's a 4x4 with a two-speed transfer case, high ground clearance, and a great set of BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A tires. Of course, for the days you just want to go to the hardware store, the three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and front disc brakes all mean this Bronco can run around town with ease.
This is the cool classic Bronco that retains its bright and distinct factory presentation. So at a price like this, you know you're looking at a 4x4 deal that will be moving fast. Don't miss out, call today!!!

About Ford
Ford, founded in 1902, has arguably changed the history of automotive world more than any other car manufacturer by introducing the first people's car Model T in 1908. They had produced more than 15 million cars by the end of the production in 1927, by which T had become obsolete.

Ford launched the first low priced V8 engine powered car in 1932. 1932 V8 was an instant hit with superior handling and performance to many far more expansive cars of the day. No wonder 32 V8 Ford has become such a favourite among hot rodders around the world with 32 Deuce coupe as their icon.

During the war Ford completely shut down civilian vehicle production to dedicate all its resources to the Allied war efforts (1942-45) They used to build B-24 bombers, aircraft engines, jeeps, M-4 tanks, military trucks and Bren-gun carriers and more than 30,000 super-charged Rolls Royce Merlin V-12 engines for Mosquito and Lancaster bombers as well as P-51 Mustang fighters. After the war Ford cars in the USA got bigger and flashier along with their competitors. In the 60's Ford was back in the forefront again when introducing their commercial hit Mustang in 1964. Mustang was so popular the competition had to follow Ford's example and the ponycar phenomenon took over the US. Over the years the ponies grew some muscles until the oil crisis kill finally killed them off.

In the sixties Ford rushed into international motor sports scene with a fury. After unsuccessful Ferrari takeover, when Enzo Ferrari had cut the deal off with Henry Ford II making the latter absolutely boil with fury, Ford turned to Lola in UK to produce a Ferrari beating long distance racer after. The collaboration between Ford and Lola created the mighty Ford GT40 that absolutely beat Ferrari in Le Mans 24 numerous times.

In Europe, Ford introduced some of the most epic race and rally cars of the 60's based on humble family sedans; Cortina GT, Lotus Cortina, Escort Twin Cam, and Escort 1600RS with the iconic Cosworth BDA engines.
