Ford Bronco XLT 1990

General description : Well optioned, Well maintained and completely unrestored, this awesome Ford Bronco is a cool classic that's ready to take on anything!
Wrapping a delightfully '90s combination of Dark Grey Metallic and Medium Silver Metallic two-stage around clean Dark Charcoal cloth, this iconic Ford is a fantastic example of what some enthusiasts consider the last generation of traditional SUVs. Forgoing the style and luxury that, increasingly, has dominated truck design for the last two decades, this two-door ute sports a quintessentially boxy profile. That aforementioned optional Deluxe two-tone pigment is augmented with polished bumpers, polished mirrors, a covered spare tire and tasteful red and gray tape stripes. An optional Black fiberglass roof looks great with XLT-spec privacy glass. And fit and finish is exactly what you would expect from a meticulously kept time capsule.
Power comes courtesy of a fuel injected Windsor V8 that, like the rest of the truck, has only spun 48,733 miles. That engine is backed by a smooth AOD 4-speed, which deals power to either a Borg-Warner transfer case or a familiar 8.8-inch axle that's equipped with a limited-slip differential. Naturally, there's an independent front and solid axle rear suspension that keeps passengers riding high. Power-assisted steering leads power front disc and rear drum brakes. And in front of those brakes, machined bullet hole wheels spin a quartet of 31x10.50R15 Goodyear Wranglers around optional manual hubs.
Between the doors, plush Dark Charcoal cloth dresses XLT-spec captain's chairs that are centered in a spacious, five-person cockpit. Those seats join a locking factory console on clean, color-keyed carpet. A straight factory dash wraps simple wood-look trim around and XLT-spec tach, XLT-spec air conditioning and XLT-spec audio that's complete with a cassette player. A power-operated tailgate window benefits from an XLT-spec defroster. Conveniences abound, including power door locks, power side windows and Cruise Control. And the driver prowls the road through a simple factory steering wheel.
American trucks are built to endure, and this Ford certainly doesn't disappoint. If you're ready to commit to a tough, time-tested ute that's feels like a tough, time-tested ute, don't miss the chance to claim this exclusive fourth generation Bronco!

About Ford
Ford, founded in 1902, has arguably changed the history of automotive world more than any other car manufacturer by introducing the first people's car Model T in 1908. They had produced more than 15 million cars by the end of the production in 1927, by which T had become obsolete.

Ford launched the first low priced V8 engine powered car in 1932. 1932 V8 was an instant hit with superior handling and performance to many far more expansive cars of the day. No wonder 32 V8 Ford has become such a favourite among hot rodders around the world with 32 Deuce coupe as their icon.

During the war Ford completely shut down civilian vehicle production to dedicate all its resources to the Allied war efforts (1942-45) They used to build B-24 bombers, aircraft engines, jeeps, M-4 tanks, military trucks and Bren-gun carriers and more than 30,000 super-charged Rolls Royce Merlin V-12 engines for Mosquito and Lancaster bombers as well as P-51 Mustang fighters. After the war Ford cars in the USA got bigger and flashier along with their competitors. In the 60's Ford was back in the forefront again when introducing their commercial hit Mustang in 1964. Mustang was so popular the competition had to follow Ford's example and the ponycar phenomenon took over the US. Over the years the ponies grew some muscles until the oil crisis kill finally killed them off.

In the sixties Ford rushed into international motor sports scene with a fury. After unsuccessful Ferrari takeover, when Enzo Ferrari had cut the deal off with Henry Ford II making the latter absolutely boil with fury, Ford turned to Lola in UK to produce a Ferrari beating long distance racer after. The collaboration between Ford and Lola created the mighty Ford GT40 that absolutely beat Ferrari in Le Mans 24 numerous times.

In Europe, Ford introduced some of the most epic race and rally cars of the 60's based on humble family sedans; Cortina GT, Lotus Cortina, Escort Twin Cam, and Escort 1600RS with the iconic Cosworth BDA engines.
