Meticulously Restored 1953 Ford Customline Sedan
New to our Benicia showroom is this beautiful 1953 Ford Customline 2 Door Sedan with yellow exterior paint and gorgeous grey Leather/cloth custom interior.  This stunning showpiece is like new throughout  after a complete restoration and you’ll be pleased to find a huge 460 cid V-8 engine bored .020 over with an Edelbrock intake, a Crane cam, custom headers, a Custom Mandrel Bent Flowmaster exhaust and a C6 automatic transmission.  This impressive classic is also equipped with Vintage Air, 4 wheel disc brakes, Borgeson power steering, 3 speed intermittent electric wipers, an amazing sound system, and far too much more to list.
Virtually every component on this spectacular ’53 Ford is brand new from bumper to bumper with a mere 3,539 total miles on the entire build.
Driven 3,539 Miles Since Complete Frame-Off Restoration
The current owner of this 1953 Ford Customline Sedan acquired it back in 2011 and he informs us that it’s a local Bay Area classic that originally sold in Burlingame, California.  This classic was literally stripped down to bare metal in a multi-year frame off restoration effort and restored from the ground up with the best components that money can buy.  For instance, the entire suspension has been upgraded with HD stabilizer bars, Strange axels and KBY gas shocks while the entire drivetrain features brand new parts and accessories.  This example is truly stunning in person with only 3,539 miles on the entire build.
Additionally, this 1953 Ford Customline Sedan performs like a true muscle car with blistering acceleration, very nice handling, solid stopping power and simply an incredible feel on the open road.  While this example was clearly restored to take center stage at local events and meetups, it can be driven guilt-free around town or on a cross-country vacation.  This description and the photographs do not do this outstanding classic the complete justice it deserves- it has to be seen in person to truly appreciate since the current owner went above and beyond during the restoration process.
Outstanding Overall Condition Both Inside & Out
Overall, this 1953 Ford Customline 2 Door Sedan is one of the most impressive examples we’ve seen this year and it’s being sacrificed for a mere fraction of the total build costs.  If you’re searching for a real head-turner with incredible performance and undeniable curb appeal, come see this amazing classic today!  For more information about this vehicle, visit our Benicia, California showroom, give us a call at 707-748-4000, or email us at Sales@SpecialtySales.com.  Be sure to mention Stock # B11575 as well.

About Ford
Ford, founded in 1902, has arguably changed the history of automotive world more than any other car manufacturer by introducing the first people's car Model T in 1908. They had produced more than 15 million cars by the end of the production in 1927, by which T had become obsolete.

Ford launched the first low priced V8 engine powered car in 1932. 1932 V8 was an instant hit with superior handling and performance to many far more expansive cars of the day. No wonder 32 V8 Ford has become such a favourite among hot rodders around the world with 32 Deuce coupe as their icon.

During the war Ford completely shut down civilian vehicle production to dedicate all its resources to the Allied war efforts (1942-45) They used to build B-24 bombers, aircraft engines, jeeps, M-4 tanks, military trucks and Bren-gun carriers and more than 30,000 super-charged Rolls Royce Merlin V-12 engines for Mosquito and Lancaster bombers as well as P-51 Mustang fighters. After the war Ford cars in the USA got bigger and flashier along with their competitors. In the 60's Ford was back in the forefront again when introducing their commercial hit Mustang in 1964. Mustang was so popular the competition had to follow Ford's example and the ponycar phenomenon took over the US. Over the years the ponies grew some muscles until the oil crisis kill finally killed them off.

In the sixties Ford rushed into international motor sports scene with a fury. After unsuccessful Ferrari takeover, when Enzo Ferrari had cut the deal off with Henry Ford II making the latter absolutely boil with fury, Ford turned to Lola in UK to produce a Ferrari beating long distance racer after. The collaboration between Ford and Lola created the mighty Ford GT40 that absolutely beat Ferrari in Le Mans 24 numerous times.

In Europe, Ford introduced some of the most epic race and rally cars of the 60's based on humble family sedans; Cortina GT, Lotus Cortina, Escort Twin Cam, and Escort 1600RS with the iconic Cosworth BDA engines.

Today classic Fords are extremely popular with enthusiasts and a great selection of classic Fords can be found for sale at www.ClassicDigest.com
