Ford F-100 429 Cobra Jet 1954

General description : For sale in our Fort Lauderdale showroom is this fantastic custom 1954 Ford F100. The F100 was build and frame off restored in 2012. The build started with a new TCI Frame and was rounded up with a 429ci Cobra Jet engine. This truck was built professional and it shows extremely well. No costs were spared, and you will immediately know it when you turn the key for the first time. The 429ci Cobra Jet engine with an Edelbrock performer intake, a Holly 4-barrel carburetor and Sanderson ceramic headers is a perfect fit to this 54’ F100. “Ready for Take Off” will be the best possible description for this truck. Step on the gas pedal and you will be pressed in the soft custom leather bench seat like in a 747 Jumbo Jet. Power Wilwood disc brakes will slow you down as fast as you take off. The Flow master dual exhaust blows out a big block V8 symphony that is music to your ears. Take a peak underneath the truck and you will see a Fat Boy front end and coil over adjustable suspension in the rear. You will have unforgettable rides in this F100. When you have arrived at your destination you certainly will only leave this extreme clean and nice interior with a heavy hard. But heads up the exterior is as nice as the rest of the truck. Where ever you will go expect a crowd building up around the truck to be stunned by it. The body lines up great and is wrapped in a beautiful red paint. Don’t be afraid to check out the paintjob up close. Everything was done professionally. You are not going to find any paint on the trim, weather stripping or anywhere where it shouldn’t be. The truck was completely dissembled when it got painted. Chrome looks all real good and the bed is beautifully done with Brazilian wood. Build to show and for a comfortable driving experience the F100 comes with A/C, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Windows, Tilt Wheel, Leather Interior and a lot of fun!!! This truck has it all, it is a must see and a must drive to believe. No disappointments here. One of the nicest pick-up truck that ever rolled into our South Florida showroom. We are thrilled to feature it in our showroom. Please feel free to contact us with any questions. Let it ride!!! About Ford
Ford, founded in 1902, has arguably changed the history of automotive world more than any other car manufacturer by introducing the first people's car Model T in 1908. They had produced more than 15 million cars by the end of the production in 1927, by which T had become obsolete.

Ford launched the first low priced V8 engine powered car in 1932. 1932 V8 was an instant hit with superior handling and performance to many far more expansive cars of the day. No wonder 32 V8 Ford has become such a favourite among hot rodders around the world with 32 Deuce coupe as their icon.

During the war Ford completely shut down civilian vehicle production to dedicate all its resources to the Allied war efforts (1942-45) They used to build B-24 bombers, aircraft engines, jeeps, M-4 tanks, military trucks and Bren-gun carriers and more than 30,000 super-charged Rolls Royce Merlin V-12 engines for Mosquito and Lancaster bombers as well as P-51 Mustang fighters. After the war Ford cars in the USA got bigger and flashier along with their competitors. In the 60's Ford was back in the forefront again when introducing their commercial hit Mustang in 1964. Mustang was so popular the competition had to follow Ford's example and the ponycar phenomenon took over the US. Over the years the ponies grew some muscles until the oil crisis kill finally killed them off.

In the sixties Ford rushed into international motor sports scene with a fury. After unsuccessful Ferrari takeover, when Enzo Ferrari had cut the deal off with Henry Ford II making the latter absolutely boil with fury, Ford turned to Lola in UK to produce a Ferrari beating long distance racer after. The collaboration between Ford and Lola created the mighty Ford GT40 that absolutely beat Ferrari in Le Mans 24 numerous times.

In Europe, Ford introduced some of the most epic race and rally cars of the 60's based on humble family sedans; Cortina GT, Lotus Cortina, Escort Twin Cam, and Escort 1600RS with the iconic Cosworth BDA engines.

Today classic Fords are extremely popular with enthusiasts and a great selection of classic Fords can be found for sale at www.ClassicDigest.com
